Unironically I think it is just this. These series were absolutely a team effort more than ever before and they looked fairly connected as a team and playing off of each other rather than just playing for 1 person at all times.

But both Falcons AND G2 have the strongest budgets in all of GC, so makes me wonder how are they not the strongest 2 teams in their own circuit by default and not making it to T2.

Am I wrong to have low hopes for EMEA GC? Especially with VCL changes to regions I think now is the least likely they make it in. I'm guessing G2G added Nelo but with the budget G2 has surely there's a way to dig out an even better GC player?

Code 61is related to a ban through multiple offenses, in your case behavioral offenses. This does not mean you are HWID banned. IIRC though, you can get hardware banned if you continue bad behavior.

It's a personal pet peeve when someone goes "I think this is bad" without going into ANY amount of detail as to why is something bad. In case of GC rarely do I ever see people pointing out their actual mistakes (which in comparision to the highest level of play - are noticable and can be pointed out just fine without mockery). I just know people like him go on vlr.gg, look at the stats and brush everything off outside of stats.

I am also aware he doesn't exclusively talk about GC (as I do not either), as I tend to check out people who I am replying to, but the level of comments doesn't seem to be any more articulate when talking about T1.

You can be constructive regardless of the level of play when talking about them, there's a reason coaches exist and that is their primary job within a team to point out these things so they can work on it more. That's atleast what I think should be a role of the coach. You do realize that being constructive has nothing to do with if they're good or bad? You can give thought-out feedback to any level of play.

The Spotlight tournament DID show something, albeit not a lot. Some players can hang around in these lobbies, while others got heavily bodied. Not all players are good, and also as you said, it's an off-season tournament that doesn't always show much (Pacific tournament was singlehandedly something diff). I also question it just like you do, I watched as many games as I could :)

I see who he replied to, but then again, doesn't change much. Fighting fire with fire does not achieve anything. He did not use any sort of argumentative logic to dismantle it, just went "lol they get beaten by T3". Saying that without anything else holds no value in my eyes, as I can do the same thing and say "lol Dodonut T4 GC player beat T1 players they should be kicked off of the roster".

Regardless, I am not here to change your mind and I respect the fact that even if we disagree or differently see GC and its players, you are willing to discuss it into more detail than most sceptics of the league :)

Going "lol GC bad" every thread that GC is involved with does absolutely nothing besides antagonizing yourself for no reason.

If you want to a have realistic GC take(s) without talking poorly about the players and the league:

• GC teams will eventually make it into tier 2, but not with their current form.
• Staying in GC is a lot more favorable than going for VCL and is why most GC players that could do well in it won't leave it to try their hand in mixed teams despite having potential.
• GC is and will always be the most volatile league in terms of skill because of the fact it's a small league.

His replies are just opposite of glazing but they do the same effect of polarizing people further because being moderate when talking about GC seems to be a struggle.

If you want an explanation behind my thought process, they mentioned potential roleswaps in SR (I could very well be misremembering or outright wrong) and the roleswaps I see is sarah to duelist or Noia to duelist, Alexis is absolutely not roleswapping (she can't frag to save a life but is amazing with utility and setup), meL is gonna stay 100% IGLing. They could cop a good sentinel player, but I am not sure which duelist would ever take flor's spot. I'm thinking about it really hard but NA GC scene suffers from not having a flashy strong duelist (now that flor's gone)

I do think there's a massive difference between undergoing HRT for 4+ years and playing in GC under the non-binary label

I planned on writing a lot more to fully talk about this but I think it's best I just simplify. Full female / GC teams are not tier 2 ready until they get into tier 2 via open qualifiers or Premier. End of story. They are not trying hard enough, they don't play as if their lives depend on it.

"more even stage" is just a massive cope, GC needs to have the bar constantly raised, not evened out. That is not how you create competition.

If you transition the way flor has been doing for the last 4 years, I see no issue with her playing in GC. She has been on HRT for as long as Valorant has been a thing, and actually longer than that. It's ridiculous people still claim she transitioned for the sake of GC, she would need to be some sort of crazy psychic to predict she'd have a career in Valorant.

Does she farm them regardless? Yes, that's not debatable.
Should she go tier 2? Also yes, I think she should try.
Has her team proven they're not tier 2 ready as a unit? Yes.
Should she leave them? Up to her. You can't do much about it.
Will she leave GC? Up to her, she claims her end goal is VCT, so she would need to leave GC and her team behind for that.

Do I think the non-binary label opens up a lot of gray area? 100% yes. But flor isn't non-binary.

I mean, realistically speaking they aren't making it past BBL and Permitta. Fortunately this time they are as strong as they can be so they won't go out 13-0, I am, however, expecting 13-3 13-3 vs BBL and 13-5 13-6 scorelines against PMU. If they don't beat Siko in the LB they are trolling.

I think that was by far their weakest version and there's a reason 3/5 players got booted (Glance and Roxi didn't make it to GCC, sarah went out early), yet people keep ignoring this for some reason.
