bro said gigasoy and called another person gigasoy
Kabutops
Oshowatt
Magnezone
Rhydon
Ninjask/Gastrodon
Every tournament is a fluke because every team loses to 2 or more teams and whoever wins is just lucky they dodged whatever teams they would lose to.
Well this is embarrassing
Bruh Loud will make it out of groups. Don’t be sad yet
Every DRX vs Optic
I think the whole 1 team narrative has to die. If the second seed of a region consistently beat the top seeds of other regions, Valorant would be boring and less competitive internationally. If anything the whole 1 team region label is the expectation that one region is significantly better than another. The fact that Xset even took it to OT in their 3rd map against Leviatan is a good indication of the health of international competition given that Leviatan was the first seed of LATAM.
No one loses 5 v 4’s like optic
In valorant you get 3 tournaments a year with inconsistent teams thanks to shifting metas. Therefore it’s hard for there to be any rivalries (especially considering some teams play like 2-3 games only) or dominant teams. This makes player recognizability in masters (especially North America/Brazil where new teams come and go) . Scene being on its second year only makes these problems worse imo. Also casters make a difference of course. Valorant lacking a nostalgia factor also plays a part
Teams with no masters experience (guard, leviatan, Xset) have a pretty bad record debuting in the playoffs. The only exception is Loud who made it to the semifinals pretty convincingly
EMEA fan must’ve skipped last masters
Next thing they argue is that yay is actually EU because his great great great whatever migrated back in 1870
Asians born in America are NA brutha
Unless you are talking about sayaplayer or other imports- none of which are at Masters right now, just because they (non-imports) are Asian doesn't mean they aren't NA brutha. Also saying carried by Canadians is like saying your region is carried by Germans. Unlike Canada, your region is a conglomerate of what Riot defines as "EU, CIS, MENA and Turkey"- Canda is considered NA; So are you talking about EU or EMEA.
Bro's talking like his best teams aren't carried by CIS and turkey
put some respect on the name
Every Master's format was bad, this one is just worse than normal because the teams expected to get first at challengers had a bad day when it mattered.
Your fart must look pretty nice then
Considering there’s only 3 international events per year, riot should definitely invite more teams
Until there is assurance Russian players will actually be able to compete in a Masters Event (assuming they qualify) then I doubt so.
Match was a sham, should be replayed imo
Does optic have to go through challengers 2 to attend masters 2? Or do they auto-qualify similar to how Gambit auto qualified for Champions?
New act starts, many new things to talk about until then!
Don’t let the haters get to you man. Brunei strong 💪
Optic has high win rate second time around. They usually get washed first game then win the second and are known for counter-strating. I’d say the only exception was X10 in champs. As long as they have prep time and make it to grands they will be fine imo.
They always make mistakes. That’s what Optic is. Optic fan btw. I’ve watched them lost like 15 ecos this tournament
Why is there like a 3-4 day intermission between games today and the winner finals which happens on the 22nd? Is it to give teams time to prepare?
To be fair I think their team comp is kind of troll; no flashes or heals and only one astra instead of having 2 controllers to compensate for lack of that. I think killjoy is being rolled out of the meta and their jett pick wasn't very useful. (ZETA on ascent)
the EMEA teams here aren't that interesting compared to watching Gambit or Acend if I'm being honest. I only enjoy watching Optic, DRX.Xerxia and Loud rn
idk man, a lot of these games look like gold vs gold fragfests. Not as fun to watch sometimes
How many ecos does optic plan on throwing
Did you see yay’s kda last map????
Change entire icebox map 😵
I'd be more pissed at watching my team lose like this than at the strats. Loss is 10 times more embarrassing than Sen losing to G2
Average haven game tbh, this game feels as strategic as a gold match 1 year ago
Yet they didn't add a bracket reset? wtf is wrong with rito lmao
Is there no map advantage this tournament?
Dude optic is just making mistake after mistake I've never seen a team throw so much. There's atleast 1 stupid death per round
What's your opinion on VS at the time buying out Lakia from probably the only other competitive team in Korea
man just asked someone why they are cringe and said pepepains in the same sentence
I would imagine any team other than TL or Acend wanting him- in Europe atleast. He has a pretty huge following and would be good for any team/org's brand. He also has a lot of counterstrike experience and being able to speak multiple languages can help him find a team overseas if he can't find one within Europe.
Unfortunately, that's how the ranked reset works. People who were formerly gold or silver are expected to have terrible win rates since higher-ranked players are compressed into silver and gold as well. The RR is balanced so these people will soon leave your rank and you will be able to play with more balanced matchmaking. RR loss is minimal too so even a 25% win rate could probably maintain your rank.
Almost downfragged you then saw this gem of a reply.
BBG could lose 5v1 to the worst iron in the world and I would still put them on top. That's on team loyalty
