I'm not saying they deserve to go to the tournament and I'm not saying they don't. but they're the only team to have attended EVERY international event. KRU have been to 4 international summits playing against some of the worlds best.

Masters Reykjavik '21
Masters Berlin '21
Champions '21
Masters Reykjavik '22
???

They should get this! think of the stories!!!

NIP are a good team and love them (xand is scary) but DAMN, Save the storyline

APAC talent looking for recognition in Copenhagen

The region of APAC is constantly underappreciated, but coming into stage 2 of VCT ‘22 we have two of the strongest teams in the region's history looking to do damage on the Copenhagen stage. This is APAC’s event-to-win and Paper Rex and XERXIA are in Denmark to give the title of a major region to APAC.
The teams that will be representing our region this Masters are; XERXIA eSports, one of the most storied teams in our region winning Masters 1 ‘21 as well as making it to playoffs in Champions ‘21. Joining them as our number #1 seed is Paper Rex, consisting of some of the most mechanically gifted players in the world jinggg and f0rsaken. That iconic duo took Paper Rex to the top, placing 4th last Masters event and showing promising signs in groups of Masters Berlin.

More on the Teams.

Paper rex is a singapore-based eSports team started by former CS:GO professional for FNATIC Harley "dsn" Örwall. Paper Rex’s VALORANT division began with the signing of Tier 2 talent, but when that team eventually fell through Paper Rex made the decision to move their CS:GO team consisting of d4v41, f0rsaken, benkai, mindfreak and Kumersan “Tommy” Ramani. Tommy was later dropped in wake of the signing of jinggg and shiba. Former players Tommy and Shiba.
Paper Rex found immediate success with their new roster placing third in SEA Challengers (now APAC challengers) and second at the following challengers giving them a slot in Masters Berlin. The following year Paper Rex was in good form. With little competition after a disappointing performance from APAC rivals Team Secret in their own regional challengers. This stage their only true rival would be that of XERXIA eSports.
XERXIA has had a storied past in VALORANT, after winning SEA Masters and making it to the quarterfinals of Champions, placing them among the top 8 teams in the world. XERXIA has had a long standing rivalry with the current world champions OpTic Gaming with playing four matches between each other in their match history. At Champions ‘21 and at Masters Reykjavik ‘22. They have a 2-2 match history between them that goes back to the days of ENVY and X10 Crit.

There are twelve people going to Copenhagen representing our region those people are:

Sushiboys (XERXIA)
Foxz (XERXIA)
sScary (XERXIA)
Surf (XERXIA)
Crws (XERXIA)
Zeus (XERXIA coach)
Benkai (Paper Rex)
Mindfreak (Paper Rex)
D4v41 (Paper Rex)
Jinggg (Paper Rex)
F0rsaken (Paper Rex)
Alecks (Paper Rex coach)

These people will be showing the world what our region can do. Let’s show them some love. We know what Paper Rex is capable of and we’ve seen it. Time to see if XERXIA can break the tie against OpTic Gaming.

Top 9 APAC team + 1 team from OCE LCQ go to APAC lcq

Ok, as some of you may know, I have a mild to moderate passion with writing. (Articles that is)
and I'm looking for something new to write but seem to have come to a blockade of sorts. so, I came to the trusty vlr.gg community to help me search for ideas to write.

any ideas? (preferably about eSports)

it's been a while since i made an ORDER post BUT!

in the ORDER vs Paper Rex game they had a series round differential of -12
XERXIA had a differential of -22

This means that in ORDER vs Paper Rex. ORDER performed better than XERXIA did THUS proving that ORDER is > XERXIA making them the second best team in APAC THUS meaning they will win LCQ

EDIT: This was a shitpost

XSET fan?

I feel as if I laid my points out in an orderly manor there

posted about 2 years ago

I see where you're coming from in your predictions but I fundamentally disagree with you. XSET might have no LAN experience but in this new environment everyone is new. these people are competing in front of real people at the Forum Copenhagen this year. XSET might have no LAN experience but i believe that they have what it takes to take home the trophy. I've heard "XSHIT" and "Throwers" but they have proven themselves as an extremely consistent team. and now that that consistency is at the highest level they can compete with slower teams such as Guild and FNATIC. the explosive playstyle that XSET (along with other North American representatives) is unparalleled except maybe to that of APAC's representatives of Paper Rex and we'll see how well the methodical playstyles of EMEA and KR match with the explosive playstyles of other regions.

To summarise;

  1. This is a new environment for every team, XSET have virtually no disadvantage in that regard.
  2. The determining factor for this event will be the classic NA vs EMEA.
  3. This is APAC's Event to win

I'm happy. One of my favorite NA teams did it
