These storylines and "banter"is getting ridiculous. I know Demon1 is a good person IRL but wanting this facade of being the villain is just so immature. I hated it with Zombs and I hate it more now.

100%! PRX AND EG haven't really been tested all that much this tournament. Arguably PRX has had much more difficulty getting to this stage with close games against EDG and LOUD and EG's run has been much more convincing. EG also has more momentum imo (because they don't fully understand how important this tournament). Very interesting how lucky both of these teams have been!

So far in the tournament the only TOP TIER competition that EG has faced was DRX!! DRX!! yes the team that most people expected to be grouped. It's SO HARD to try and make a proper guess on where they stand, honestly, I expected EG to have done shit this tournament and there migth be a little confirmation bias here with me desperately trying to be right, but think about it. I loved the team in tokyo... not so much in this tournament but they're still the loveable eg.

It's accomplished two things:
Giving some entertainment to some people who are enjoying it
Made EG look like assholes.
If you just read the tweets you might think "lmao, ok man XD" but if you stay attentive, EG haven't said a single nice thing, They're so desperately trying to look like the villains that they can't realise they are losing followers. The main reason why the 2021 sentinels vs G2 rivalry was so good was because they maintained a base-level respect for eachother. Because both teams demanded respect, for example: Dapr would say one beefy thing or snarky comment in an interview for the highlights then would go on to have a normal interview.
Most of EG (especially Demon1) is coming off as assholes.
It has been so fkn sad seeing this loveable team that nearly ocmpleted the cinderella run that saw them qualify only on the pitfalls of other teams into one of the best in the world turn into one of the dislikeable teams in the world with their achievments being overshadowed by their egos.
they wanted to be 2021 sentinels... Genuinely, they thought it would be great publicity to start beefing with a whole region for no reason
