REPOST, SINCE I LOST THE OTHER ACCOUNT
On the 7th of December 2021 at 6:40 am AEDT the match between Sentinels (NA) and KRÜ Esports started a BO3 Match to qualify for the Playoffs. KRÜ’s pick, Fracture, was false and would end in a 13-7 loss to Sentinels. The following map, being the one chosen by Sentinels, Haven, would end in an unfortunate loss for Sentinels with a 13-11 score.
The stage was set for the easy 2-1 Sentinels way to absolutely own the South Americans. It all looked fine and all was going well and the game was close with a score of 12-11. With KRÜ opting to head to B Site, on attack, in hopes of guaranteeing the victory. All was normal with Sentinels realising that KRÜ was visiting B Site, causing SEN zombs (#zombsnation) to smoke off B Main, making it more difficult to push onto site. This would later be analysed as a crucial error by experts.
Prior to the start of the 24th round, KRÜ Esports member keznit decided to play a song to improve the morale of the team in hopes of winning against the “best team in the world”. This was later seen by experts as the game winning decision. The song being “Knife Talk” by Drake Featuring 21 Savage.
“I gotta feed the streets, My pistol gon’ bleed the streets”, Project Pat rapped into Keznit's ears as he sprayed through the smoke. The killfeed showed that he killed 3 people through the smoke, this was the true power of Knife Talk.
KRÜ Esports would then wittle Sentinels down to just SEN Dapr in a 1v3, Michael would lose this round meaning KRÜ would advance further into the tournament, knocking out the most washed team in Valorant history.
