The most exciting thing about the pre franchising era was the upset potential and the openness of the system, one day all the big orgs could win glory, the next day the guard and ghost gaming could be on top. If your gonna protect your big orgs finances with franchising and have a massive off-season fill it with something exciting.

If we are only gonna have a small handful of T2 teams, many of which will be legacy teams, in franchising than we need to have more 3rd party events with open brackets. It will increase awarement, viewership, and revenue for T2 with them competing to upset top teams and claim valuable prize money, it will familiarize people with the T2 scene, and it will build more storylines in T1. Give me a full off-season split with hero base oxg, c9 and dfm competing in 1 group pls

Guys please stop taking these kinds of threads seriously. We can speculate all we want but until an official statement is released we are just a bunch of kids hiding outside the principals office trying to figure whose inside and why. W key gaming is a fine play style, I fully believe that the team is able to win a tournament against top tier competition utilizing a hyper aggressive game plan with lots of on the fly set util combos, but the team seems to have taken every stereotype about w key gaming as a strategy and applied it to team culture. It seems like every event we get at least 1 or 2 'troll' teams who have no expectations and everybody writes off. Do we actually have that this champs though? America's, Emea, and APAC are all sending 4 strong teams, EDG and FPX are both dangerous, and trace and BLG have the firepower to compete and some cool ideas.

It honestly kind of feels like they don't actually care that much and just play for fun, just a vibe but idk sometimes it seems like they don't care if they win or lose.

The problem with a team like PRX is that when you spend so long at the top you take success for granted, prx qualifies to every event, beats top teams, draws crazy viewership, and have multiple podium finishes. They are an objectively incredible team and blowing them up would give. 90% chance of an objectively worse team, but people don't care because they can't get that coveted first place.
Also yeah who TF are they replacing unless they can get the next karon to play smokes? Even then mind freak is not bad at all and replacing him risks hurting chemistry
