nah, being based is in my blood

a good run also means that their continual wins aren’t flukes. XSET has now gone 3-0 in champs, winning against 1st and 4th place from copenhagen. how can both of those matches be flukes?

posted about 2 years ago

i agree he had a bad game, but fnatic fans are stupid as hell if they think it was because of the crowd.

they were silent 80% of the match anyway 💀

"They [the fans] are gonna be hype because they are going to be screaming Fnatic because I am Fnatic. My family is here and they’re going to boost me, and if I finished with 300 ACS, I am going to do 400 [in playoffs]." -Alfajer

-alfajer +nAts and fnatic will win every LAN next year

Doug and Balla were actually funny as fuck today

posted about 2 years ago

toxic from syyko but a justified toxicity. fnatic started it w the FreeEc1s and the crowd deserved it after today

posted about 2 years ago

oh fuck i crossed 2000 posts today and didn't even notice

congrats on 3k

posted about 2 years ago

especially because upsets happen. imagine if optic and FPX didn't win their LANs even though they were clearly the best teams at those moments

posted about 2 years ago

i can't believe it took until this year to implement a double elim bracket across all vct LANs

posted about 2 years ago

People can complain about the audience, saying that they're one sided and whatever.
But nothing was funnier than the crowd cheering when Alfajer finally got a kill round 4 and then falling silent as soon as he died LMAO

idk what it was but i was laughing for a while when this happened live

i cannot believe people are saying the crowd was putting "too much pressure on alfajer". wasn't he the one saying the crowd was gonna buff him? he even played into the crowd at walkouts. plain and simply, xset was the better team today.

so you're admitting that cryo and yay are better than other emea chambers

i agree, alfajer should just be allowed to play raze

What Are You Talking About?

posted about 2 years ago

too early for a jinx, you gotta do it right before the match

posted about 2 years ago

maybe yeah, but i'd get rid of FaZe cause of all the crypto shit and controversy

posted about 2 years ago

i mean after that crowd today i don't blame them. W tweet

posted about 2 years ago

i'll troll from time to time but i think it's very apparent when i'm being serious. i like to give credit where credit is due, and if fnatic somehow reverse sweep and win champs, i'll give credit where it's due

posted about 2 years ago

yeah, but isn't that kind of the point? Sentinels and Valorant go together in terms of name recognition

posted about 2 years ago

before playoffs started i didn't really care much for any specific team, but after hearing the crowd today i'm rooting for XSET. they've had the most growth since last LAN and have shown how much they deserve to be here. they were in a group with fucking FPX and still qualified 1st seed.

posted about 2 years ago

i don't know how much that matters (in this special case). think about how many fans they've brought to VCT and Valorant and how much name recognition they have as well

posted about 2 years ago

EG has a league roster though, there's a strong chance they make it

posted about 2 years ago

sentinels is kind of a guarantee, they have too much notoriety and star power to be ignored

full english slaps (i'm a compulsive liar)

i gotchu dw, we're all in this together next year

posted about 2 years ago

if any team wins, they've earned it

posted about 2 years ago

it's crazy that XSET has now beat FPX and Fnatic, yet people are still calling them a fluke team.

i doubted them a lot but they've proven themselves to be a good team, i hope people start putting respect on their name

posted about 2 years ago

damn it's crazy that fpx is allowed a bad game (or 2 now) but not lev

posted about 2 years ago

exactly what i was thinking

especially for the ascension tournaments, seeing T2 LATAM and BR and NA talent fight for a slot will be really interesting

some people take it too far (especially that home depot thread directed at Shownu, fucking disgusting) and i think we need to take a step back and think about whether this "toxicity" is a joke or whether some people on this website need help

posted about 2 years ago

I think today solidified how strong the Americas Franchise is really going to be. On top of NA teams being good, teams like LOUD and Leviatan are living proof that T1 teams from BR and LATAM can exist and thrive if they have solid opponents to play and scrim against. I believe within the next year, a BR or LATAM team is going to win a LAN due to franchising allowing these two regions to become stronger.

Within 9 months, the sphere of Valorant has shifted from EMEA dominance to an equal skill level among most regions, and I believe by next year the Americas Franchise will have the dominance EMEA once had previously.
