1st tbh, I wanna see TenZ get a real chance to remind everyone how good he is.
Me, he was easily the best IGL this year.
Nah that's why he was so good. He took a team that both started off badly, and was projected to be one of the worst Americas teams, and helped them become champs.
TenZ was a top 10 player in America's LCQ though. Idk why you would bench him.
Respectfully...fuck no, this site would pick the most ass roster.
This roster is more than just viable though. If they're all on the same page, and playing at all to their potential, they look scary af. Also, the scrim rumors, I know scrims don't mean much, but still.
Bro if SEN with johnqt isn't insane then idk what to say, because that roster is crazy.
Tbh, we gotta see the rosters first but if we're getting six NA teams, I think they'll be fine.
They genuinely could though if we're being real. The roster is stacked and with an actual IGL this time, they very well could win.
Yo lemme get in on this bet, lol.
Yeah, and this version of the roster had no igl. They really didn't even do that bad with that in mind.
Tbf Jinggg is kinda irreplaceable. Monyet would be a good replacement if PRX put him on Raze.
2 champs winners, a masters winner, a cracked duelist, and arguably the best t2 IGL. If that's ass, then idk what would be a good roster lmao.
Fax valorant is ass...I'm still gonna play it though. The grind, I mean addiction, never stops.
I see you've been getting tactical ideas from Scream
Don't worry, SEN with johnqt is winning it all 3 times and sweeping the whole year.
I don't understand how you say "you’re acting like it takes rocket science to learn to ah omen/astra" but can't wrap your head around the fact that that person doesn't have to be TenZ. Like maybe I'm wrong and he's secretly a smokes god, but nothing has indicated he is going to or wants to play smokes at all. And if you need to pick a secondary choice for smokes, and you can't pick johnqt, Sacy makes the most sense. Sacy literally played some Omen for SEN last year.
I know what you said, but it's dumb that's all. What made pancada, pancada, was him being one of the best smokes players in the world. But if you make him learn a new language, switch his roles, and have an inexperienced IGL, his form will drop some. Like yeah, he didn't play amazing but also didn't do bad, and he's adjusting to a new scenario.
Ah yes, if a good player stopped being good they would get dropped. I see you've discovered logic.
Nah I think it would be cool if he did, I just hate bad logic that's all.
Yeah, but it doesn't make sense to make TenZ learn two entirely new roles for him, when all you could do is switch Sacy to smokes for a few maps. It's a minimal change and it allows TenZ more practice on the agents he's trying to learn. Also, if Sacy is really that bad at smokes, you can just pick those two maps as your preferred bans.
So...TenZ was negative on Jett, his best agent, and Sacy might not have done well on Viper in those games, but he was positive on Omen.
Yeah so surely Sacy can practice smokes for a couple of maps during that time. Plus, TenZ is going to mainly be practicing the role he's switching to, flash initiators since he's only played a bit of kayo.
Let's put our previous aggressive duelist player with basically no experience, on smokes, instead of the guy who played some omen for us last season.
Sen would never choose TenZ over Sacy for smokes, either they'll switch TenZ to duelist and zekken to smokes, or Sacy will just play smokes. Also, I think you're vastly underestimating how good Sacy can be on smokes if it's just for a map or two.
TenZ just doesn't fit the smokes playstyle, and unless he wants to adapt his game to be able to play smokes, SEN will not put him on smokes.
If they need a second smokes player it'll either be Sacy, or johnqt if no sentinel is being played, like on Bind.
They have pancada for smokes, you know that right?
Nah TenZ just doesn't fit the smokes or sentinel playstyle.
He doesn't need to play Raze because zekken can, so really it's just flash initiators, chamber, and maybe duelist if they need it. He's already a top-tier talent, but hopefully, he'll be able to develop more as a flex for next year.
I think I saw somewhere that TenZ was playing some breach in scrims, and if it's true, he's completely fine on the roster. His agent pool was the only glaring issue in his game, and if he's able to add some initiators to it, he'd be easily T1 worthy.
EG is right, SEN/NRG are probably right, 100T I think is making no changes, and who tf knows what C9 is doing? As for TGRD, it probably depends somewhat on the org that picks them up, but most of them, at least, will stay together.
All they really need is the core 5 and a sports psychologist to improve their mental. But they could benefit from a new coach.
That might be true, but PRX nor EG really takes themselves that serious and yet those were the champs finalists. So in valorant, that point is kind of irrelevant.
Yes, don't let Shahz haters tell you otherwise. He has always had good mechanics and he gets too much hate for the Sen situation.
Yeah thats true they lost twice, but one, only a few teams have made it two or more international lan finals, and two, they were actually put under significant pressure for once due to jinggg leaving.
See prx operates by not putting pressure on themselves with a kind of go next attitude, if they lose. But you can't just go next when Jinggg is leaving.
Nah it's correlated, if you're having fun you're more likely to be relaxed, and if you're relaxed, you're less likely to make mistakes, and thus you end up playing better.
Tbh idk EMEA cal super well but:
KOI Sayf
BBL cned
NAVI ardiis
Well it's mostly that having fun by nature makes most people play better. Like outside of FNC, the two teams who did the best this year, have the most fun of any team, PRX and EG. Plus as an upside, it's fun to watch as fans.
Ok that's fair, and Asuna Raze, Cryo Chamber, would lowkey go hard.
What mentality? That you can have fun and also win at the same time?
Well...not saying it won't work, but that Yoru Chamber Bind comp was exactly this, and it did not turn out well.
Bro what? They make val look fun af, not cringe. They make it feel like 5 friends just loaded up the game and are having fun just running it down. It actually works too, which is the best part, and it's why PRX get away with it. They win, and if you can consistently place top 4 with your style, you're on the right track.
Tbh, maybe 100t just needs confidence. At one point they were pretty good, but idk if we'll ever get that 100T back.
Like, bruh what happened to lcq Derrek? Bro was putting up Shao numbers in the clutch, then dipped.
Idk if I'd say that yet, but zekken looks very promising, and I'd argue he's the most valuable player in NA currently. He has great firepower, insane flexibility, is vocal/helps with calls, and is young which gives him a lot of time to grow.
Tbh they could've beaten EG, they just probably felt a lot of pressure due to them losing Jinggg. PRX is easily a top 4 team at worst, even with them being not that serious.
