they were consistent top 3 in the region last year so i figured fpx should have some respect on their name (credit to wolves and nova for cooking in the offseason but they were absolute trash last season)
i made this thread and then a bunch of people started copying it for some reason
in the kickoff hype trailer, the china guy said something along the lines of "china is not a one team region" and then listed the other top teams in the region. no problem right? this mf mentioned nova and wolves (who did absolutely nothing last year) but left out FPX. wtf man

the new ant man was really really bad, but it wasn't kang's fault. kang was actually the most interesting part of that movie imo
im in the same boat as you. since i watched the marvels in theaters, i haven't really kept up with any of the marvel stuff (unless loki s2 came out after cuz i watched that). they're in a pretty rough spot because the kang stuff didn't work out and the new characters aren't as fleshed out as they'd like. DC seems like they have stuff cooking and unless the thunderbolts is really good i think the MCU will die out by the end of the decade.
pokemon tcg player. hope to move out of america as soon as possible because as much as i love this country, it feels like a default location. ie a great place to grow up but not exciting enough (for me at least) to sustain me for my whole life. i really hope to live somewhere else for my late 20s and maybe even 30s before returning to the us.
sounds like maybe you would be interested in japanese. as someone who's trying to learn it myself, i'll say you have to really commit to it. i've been on and off for about 2 years but the only real progress i've made is being able to read katakana. it's a great goal to have tho
if english is your first language, you are probably best of trying to learn spanish if you wanna do it within 1 year (idk if ur fake flagging or not, most jp flags are)
also i've been browsing the steam winter sale and "keep talking and nobody explodes" looks fun

when i was in LA i went to riot games studios and the arena (it was like 5 minutes from the restaurant i was going to) and got some cool pictures outside. if you can get a good excuse like a restaurant or something else nearby i'd say its definitely worth going to the compounds.

as a casual, it's like ow but significantly better. all the characters come auto unlocked, everyone seems relatively balanced, most of the characters are pretty fun, and the team up abilities are a cool feature. def check it out
idk how the peaches are where you live, but a good peach is S tier (most peaches are mid as hell tho)
