Also EG Fnatic uppers Tokyo
OpTic Loud 1st matchup at Reykjavik or Upper finals at Champs 2022
This is the Sign-Up form to the North American Amateur Valorant League, a league with the goal of giving all players, no matter the rank, a chance to play in a team environment. The idea is to somewhat mirror VCT over the summer. If you have any questions/comments, please respond to this.
TBH I think EG has a better chance of staying than C9, but I could definitely see both getting cut.
SEN didn’t have the mental stamina to stay in the game, they kept the first halves close, but won I think 2 total rounds in both the second halves combined…
I'm looking into starting a Valorant Summer League where players can get experience being a part of a team and competing outside of ranked. I want this to be open to anybody (no rank/age limit/requirement) and just a fun thing where people who are more serious about playing the game can actually compete in teams.
I want to put together a survey for people interested to fill out, and aside from rank/role, what other questions should I ask?
I also want to hear if anyone here would be interested in joining/creating this or if anyone has any other suggestions for this in general.
(This is my first time making a thread, so sorry if it's too long)
go Brentford, go Denmark, but most importantly go Midtjylland (totally not the reason I'm a Brentford fan)
But seriously, how is Hojlund good for every team except for Man U?
Probably OpTic vs DRX Champs 2022 or FPX OpTic at København
Fav map though is probably FPX vs Heretics Icebox where Berlin lost 18-16 by half a second
You might already do this, but adjusting your setups based on the other teams util (such as not playing backsite Abyss B site when they are always KAYO mollying it or using Tejo missiles there.
Still surprised neither initiator player is on fade
He’s right, Americas should be common sense, there are 2 of them, North and South. Brazil and Chile are in South America. This is 4th grade geography.
Some form of Japanese noodles, but not the $1 insta-ramen, like some actual noodles are always fire
How dare you miss the fact that Sova was played on both maps, this is crucial information to show that the Russian agent is better on the Russian map. More missing key info: Sova is a hunter, so he has arrows, also, he has a cute drone, which is why he is meta (because its cute)
Phantom because it is better for spraying and spraying sounds so clean
Bro trying to hide his prophetic skills by shifting the scores ever so slightly
Pick bind and never swing showers ever
back off of Ruxic, at least give him more than 2 games to prove himself
they played arguably the most popular Abyss comp as of rn, its not bad, they just showed too much on it over the offseason + now teams know what to do against it, more on C9 for not innovating in 6 months.
NAVI are SO CLOSE to being great, but the way they closing out games, idk if they will get there
Koala, Ruxic, and Shao were all great and we know how good Hiro can be, maybe just gotta put Shao back on info instead of flash and have Ruxic and Ange1 tone down the trolling a little.
best advice i've seen here, main thing is they have to WANT to play/scrim/practice/prep/improve
From experience, cut our best mechanics player because they could not work as a team and hated scrimming/doing anything with the team, went from midtable team to pushing for a high school championship.
Map 1: 14/18/5
Map2: 23/12/4
Map 3: 18/11/7
Yay not a shit teammate, he just isn’t a great one who can lift morale when things aren’t going well (like Zellsis or someone)
Comp way too one-dimensional for the first game, was too hard to adapt, would have much rather preferred a force onto sage/Chamber than onto Phoenix at this stage
If derrek shoots back map 1, we on Lotus now, just give time, no excuses yet except DGZN went off.
Let roster gel before replacing someone.
IMO: Keep yay, Supa, and Nature all year no matter what.
EG couldn’t adapt, maybe lack of experience together, but idk
imma watch skeleton crew until I want to pay attention (NAVI vs KC)
since we got Ruxic, I'm coping Shao will go back to hard-carry Fade
also just got back Fracture AND Pearl (best 2 maps in 2023 IMO)
Vitality, but trust the rest of the bracket:

English
French
Spanish (very little)
Danish
would say EG, but already said, so FPX
EG / NAVI (or Gentle Mates)/ Talon (or maybe BOOM, idk, haven’t watch enough)/ and FPX
I’m sadly still a Marvel fan, so no matter how bad it is, I’ve seen it (except for last episode or 2 of She Hulk, that was just too bad to not look up a summary)
valid except Nature, he does so much that goes unseen that its ok he is not top fragging (no disrespect to valyn or any other fragging IGL). He could definitely lead a team to champs if the rest of the team works well enough together.
Hot Take:
FPX deserves to be in this conversation:
Only lost to EDG in Bo5's domestically (and only lost other games after they were guaranteed to Champs)
At Madrid lost to 2 of the top 4 teams from Kickoffs in close games after a terrible travel experience.
Only lost to the 2 finalists at Shanghai
Lost to 2 of the top 4 teams at Champs in the Group of Death
let me get this right, you are concerned because a guy on Vyse mostly with some Cypher and Astra got less assists than a guy playing pocket KAYO for Oxy?
We should make it happen, would be so much fun
Mitch came in and was like “get this random guy out of my team” on day two…
Only at C9
What does this mean for C9?
