Region seeds will probably be different, but I honestly hope they don’t even use the old format. As much as I like seeing the regional finals actually have value, a team should not make playoffs just purely off of online, domestic play

I’m going to take a guess and say that the teams will be: Liquid, G2, Fnatic, KCorp, KOI, FPX, Vitality, MAD, BBL, and Falcons
I’m going to come back to this and see how many I got right

It's honestly kind of sad, I remember when they were the best Brazilian team in 2020

Only way I see DK getting a map is if Ascent makes into the pool

posted about 2 years ago
  1. No
  2. At least say ONIC G or even Bleed instead

DK has a horrible map pool against DRX

DRX vs OpTic

Guild would only beat KRU and maybe Zeta, depending upon whether or not they can replicate their performance from Reykjavik

Win or lose, you gotta give it to Wronski for giving us some of the funniest copypastas this stage

Sadge for 100T :(

Also if NA is a ‘one team region’ (which is dumb to say imo) so is APAC. PRX have only lost one domestic match this year and that was when they were literally trolling

I agree, we don’t know how much these players add to the team behind the scene as well. Give them time, the teams still young and has a bright future ahead of them.

NRG has a high skill ceiling and some LAN veterans, I think they have potential to do well in Copenhagen if they fix their mistakes

Stellar is good, he just lost that one clutch. Learn from the past and don’t bench your IGL

DRX
Order
The Guard
MAD Lions
Fokus

Loud, DRX, Zeta, PRX, and XIA/ONIC are the top five

LCQ?

Maybe if Jamppi stops going for Flexinja clips

With all these EMEA vs NA threads, I can’t wait to watch PRX win Copenhagen

Isn’t she European though?

These edating couples are always weird as fuck. I mean I don’t expect kids who play Valorant for +12 hours a day to act normal, but Jesus. I swear the T2 Valorant seen produces the weirdest ass people.
If you want a healthy relationship, actually meet someone irl, don’t date someone over discord lmfao. Hopefully they both seek and receive the help that they definitely need

They probably originally scrimmed in APAC, learned how to deal with aim gods and aggressive teams domestically, and then moved over to KR/JP to both hide strats from the rest of APAC and learn how play against more methodical and strategy heavy teams. Pretty genius if you ask me

posted about 2 years ago

I wish DRX had kept that mental throughout the entire tournament :(

posted about 2 years ago

Agreed, I think that was also the difference between Zeta/DRX and G2.
Even though G2 looked structured against PRX on CT side of Split, they began to tilt like crazy on their T side and let the game slip out of their hands

Sylvan is mad underrated

Who are your top 5 smoke players in the world? I feel like controller players have gotten a lot better this stage

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like the chances are kind of low to be honest, especially with how stingy the orgs have been in the past. I would guess that both orgs have already submitted their applications, but I doubt that they’ll get accepted into the main league and will probably choose to not invest once they get declined
If Riot makes the league size larger, maybe, but if there are only 10-12 teams, I’d assume that DRX and DK are already pretty much locked in for the KR slots
I’d also rather see talent stay in KR but as long as the players are getting payed fair salaries, I’m happy

I think there is a decent chance that EG make it in over FaZe once they apply, given that the org is less scummy and is part of the LCS

Is underrated and deserves a better team, I’d be disappointed if he doesn’t get poached before franchising
If only T1 could replace pwny with Sylvan…

nAts has been better then Chronicle this stage and neither one of them are currently better than yay/derke imo

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, you definitely weren’t implying something else

posted about 2 years ago

The ‘better players’ also got shit on by Loud, PRX, and Zeta last event

posted about 2 years ago

If the fans voted it would only be NA/EMEA players

First time I’ve heard DRX get called ‘flexible’

stax/Zest - IGL

True, but I also don't think it was difficult to predict them to fall off, given how much they depend on PTC and JohnOlsen fragging

posted about 2 years ago

It's kind of depressing that that's how little the fans expect at this point

+MY/SG

posted about 2 years ago

Same, PTC and JohnOlsen are so fun to watch

posted about 2 years ago

1) MY/SG -Paper Rex are currently the best APAC team until proven otherwise and Bleed/Gaimin are both strong competitors
2) ID - Improved a lot this split and have two strong teams (ONIC and AE), with BOOM being just a tier below them
3) TH - Used to be the undisputed best region but has looked shaky this stage, XIA is their only solid team right now
4) PH - Region has tons of org support but the teams are just mediocre. Aside from Secret, I think the region just lacks experience
5) OCE - Order are super strong and I think BOBO has potential if an org like RNG signs them
6) VN - Big BAAM looked like the worst playoff team but Fancy United and Cerberus are alright
7) HK/TW - Has potential if it gets more investment, players like 8lua deserve more opportunities
8) SA - Pretty self explanatory, their teams can't seem to stop choking and somehow GE keep winning domestically when OG and VLT looked better imo

TLDR: MY/SG > ID >= TH > PH > OCE > VN >= HK/TW > SA

Rankings are based on a mixture of both quality and quantity, which is why a region like ID is higher than TH even though XIA have a good chance to be better than ONIC

It’s crazy that we’ve only gotten to see 29 teams on LAN over the past year and a half, especially when events in CS, like the PGL major, have 24 teams

posted about 2 years ago

The Order logo is sick wdym, it just looks worse in dark mode than light mode

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, but you also can't ignore the fact that 90% of those G2 flairs are inactive accounts that were only created because Mixwell literally said on stream to comment on the G2 vs FPX match
