there's going to be a bidding war for Meteor when NTH doesn't make franchising

ONS could maybe take Bind and Haven but Split and Fracture are auto losses

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think they have a chance, EDG just have a better map pool.

And East Asia is KR+JP+CN. You can't call EA and APAC the same region when they are very different.

posted about 2 years ago

EA and APAC are more separated than BR and LATAM in terms of regions since they have their own LCQs. What you said is more similar to combining NA+SA and calling it the 'americas'

Yeah, I agree that there is a massive gap between PRX/DRX and the rest. if we're making an Asian list, I'd say:
PRX, DRX, EDG (?)
---Giga Gap---
Zeta, NTH, XIA, ONS, BOOM
---Small Gap---
ONIC, Secret, Bleed, KONE, Order
---Gap---
Remaining EA and APAC LCQ Teams

I want at least one underdog to win the LCQ

all I've learned from this situation is that both countries are menaces on twitter

EDG 3-0

Smokes - Vanity
Duelist - leaf
Flex - Xeppaa

4th, FaZe would still beat them imo

posted about 2 years ago

EDG would give the rest of APAC a reality check as well if they played in the APAC LCQ, they are the best Asian LCQ team. However, ONS are objectively better then KONE and DRX are better than EDG until proven otherwise, so I don't know what you're talking about.

posted about 2 years ago

I still think it's Japan right now. NTH lost to CN and KR in the LCQ while the team is carried by a KR import. We don't know much about how good Zeta Division currently are but people in the APAC scene have said PRX, DRX, and EDG are the big three, which excludes a JP team. BR and KR are tied for second.

^ most of the EMEA users are asleep right now too

sounds cool, you should include a bunch from that top 100 list

KRU 8-0 damn

posted about 2 years ago

I want 100T to win cause we've already seen TGrd make a LAN this year, but seeing TGrd get revenge in Champions could be cool too

posted about 2 years ago

it's 6-8 for NA confirmed by George, I think LATAM is about to get fucked over cause they don't have many large orgs. if LATAM get anything less then 2 slots Riot are braindead

Optic, 100T, SEN, C9, TGrd, TSM, EG/T1

I apologize sir, you were right

Should’ve just said NTH > XIA so the EA is actually pretty competitive instead of bringing Zeta into this

posted about 2 years ago

Neither does Japan

posted about 2 years ago

BR is higher than you think. They did awful in 2021 but kept consistently getting 3 slots to help the scene develop while other single country regions (KR/JP) only got 1

you didn’t even see the ones that got banned :/

I’m fine with any of these teams winning the event now, I just didn’t want a CN vs CN Grand Final

Still a win for me, I like Meteor and xnfri

You sound like you’re a max of five years old

they tend to cherry-pick matches even though KR is still 6-2 against SEA teams

Yeah, I agree that the EMEA slots aren’t reasonable at all, they should’ve given the extra SA LCQ slot to the winner of Copenhagen in my opinion or just made it a permanent EMEA slot

posted about 2 years ago

Grouping APAC and EA is like putting SA and NA together, they’re different regions with a different playstyle. With 7 slots in Chanpions (nearly half), an American team better win by your logic.

posted about 2 years ago

it's not reasonable at all, the lower final should either be on a separate day or be only a bo3

ForZe vs FPX went to 46 rounds I believe

Wasn’t it the government’s fault for not approving it?

I’m adding it to my vibes playlist

posted about 2 years ago

People have said that for the past two events, I don’t think they’ll do much since Champions has even tougher competition

posted about 2 years ago

Simple Answer: the teams just get better the further in the bracket they go, it’s a lot easier to farm a NiP or a NTH then an OpTic or FPX. When they face a team that they don’t know how to immediately counter, they can’t adapt and their mental collapses since they are so use to farming in KR.

posted about 2 years ago

I still think the 2nd SA LCQ slot should’ve gone to the winners of Copenhagen

  1. ZmjjKK
  2. Meteor
  3. idk
posted about 2 years ago

It shouldn’t be too much to ask for Riot to not put 4 teams from the same region in one group. 2 teams from the same region is fine, but 3-4? That’s pushing it.

weren’t you polish before?

It’ll be tough for Zeta if they play with the sub but there’s still a chance that Tenn recovers in time
