Would it ever be possible or even logically to have Valorant become a fantasy sport? Like you draft 5 players across a region or even the whole world and you gain points based on their actual team's performance, ACS, or any other stat. I think it would be a fun idea, but I am just not sure about the practicality. Thoughts?
I noticed if you go to rankings and try to sort by the record, it doesn't really do what you'd expect. I would assume it would sort by most/least wins or by best win percentage/worst win percentage, but I can't even piece together how it works. Could/should this be fixed @admins ?
Sinatraa has always had a douchebag’s attitude long before the accusations. I’m sure he will still have his fans that will continue to overlook his rudeness towards his own viewers and ranked teammates long after this whole ordeal fizzles out.
It's official: he's losing his mind
Did my man's beb0p get hacked? Since when do you hate Liquid?
Looks like the team is not disbanding despite Ninja leaving:

I think their aggression will surprise teams from other regions. The true test will see how and if teams will adapt to their playstyle. I'm definitely excited to see them play and I don't think they should be taken lightly.
Imagine if Time In starts exceling now lol
If there isn't already a roster move behind the scenes in progress, I will be quite frustrated. Being an XSET fan = sadge lately.
I get that making top 10 lists is fun, but there has been no international play yet. No list is going to be 100% accurate until all of these players actually complete against each other. Is a top 10 players per region doable? Yes. Top 10 in general? Not yet.
haha it's funny because BBG isn't going to Iceland haha
I use their pick-ems system sometimes, but other than that, I like the formatting and community here more. Once VLR gets a pick-ems system, I will probably rarely visit The Spike.
I agree with not being able to play your main/meta agents. The map is very different and calls for different agent picks. Seems like agents like Yoru and Skye are more viable than agents like Killjoy and Sova, which is quite different than the traditional picks.
For me, B site seems crazy open and A site has a crazy amount of angles to remember, but I’m still a fan. With a few tweaks here and there, I’m sure it’ll be a top-tier map.
Other regions are seemingly better at capturing the big plays and doing replays too during the games
I have noticed that other regions, especially EU, do a lot of interviews and short videos with players while NA doesn't seem to match the efforts
Why does this need to be a forum post????
FPX be like "pistol round win? no thanks"
It's tough being an XSET fan... Sadge
Does anyone know which maps are generally attack-sided and which maps are generally defense-sided? Besides Haven, which is obviously attack-sided, I really don't know what the general consensus is.
iyen is a pretty decent player on Soniqs
FPX is definitely better than Liquid at this point, and I'd be surprised if Liquid made it though their group tbh. Gambit and BBL will put up good fights.
For sure. Not the first time him running his mouth has gotten him in the negative spotlight.
Damn Shahzam is a drama magnet lol
Thanks for linking that thread. Shahzam does not have a saint-like reputation. A lot of people have an issue with him and I can see why.
I don't see why we have to tread water about this situation though. Speculation shouldn't be frowned upon, especially when this scandal is changing the scene in big ways more than likely.
How do you all think teams are preparing for the conclusion of the matchfixing scandals? Are FaZe/NRG trialing other players to replace Marved and tex? Or do you think that nothing will come of this?
And what do you all think of this new clip of Shazham: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HI4Irs9qGs
Even if they somehow beat FaZe, they would still have another match against TSM/GenG more than likely. I don't see them pulling off 2 upsets.
Although their bracket going up to the Round of 16 is a seemingly easy path, only 4 teams can qualify, and there are just far too many other teams that have better teamwork and individual skill compared to T1. I don't see them qualifying sadly, and I agree that the team should make major chances.
With all the time the Challengers 1 top 4 have off now to strategize and practice, XSET might surprise us again.
That being said... SEN and 100T probably lol
Good assessment for sure. +1
koalanoob is kinda crispy too
Not sure if either T1 or NRG are considered T1 teams at this point, and if they aren't, I would definitely say eeiu for his consistency on Sova and curry for his consistency on Cypher.
In regards to T1, I feel like the agent composition is also incorrect. Ska seems best on duelist and Autimatic has seemingly not found his best role either.
There are a few teams in the scene, such as TSM and T1, that have players with tremendous individual skills, but they keep falling short of expectations. My assumption is that this is due to organizational/coaching issues, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. What are some teams that are surprisingly falling short and what are solutions to their issues?
