It wouldn't. As it is now, EG is in a 5-way score tie. EG beating NRG would just put EG in third place and NRG in fourth. The remaining teams in the 4-way tie would have their positions decided by map differential. Leviatan's is 0, FURIA's is -1, Sentinels is -2 and 100T is -3. Hence, the cutoff would be with FURIA as the sixth team.

EDIT: The only way Sentinels could have gone to playoffs was if they were in a 2-way tie with Furia or a 3-way tie with Furia and 100T today, because then they would have top priority in the tiebreaker conditions. This only would have happened if both Leviatan and EG had won their series this week. Then Sentinels would be placed in the sixth position.
