India has a huuuuuge population who belong to the same race to which the Chinese belong and all of them are respected.

These people who you are calling racist have a problem with China but are respectful towards people from the North East. These same people will also tend to hate Pakistanis as well who are the same race as us. How exactly are you calling this racism?

Probably look into Xenophobia and chauvinism. These are the words you are looking for. Not Racism. Yes, Indians are highly Xenophobic and Chauvinistic like many other Asian countries which include Korea, Japan, China and the South East Asian countries.

Then there are idiots who make fun of people for being Biharis/South Indian/NorthEast Indian and whatnot, but I don't think we are dealing with these people over here.

Once again, numerous coaches and players have done it in CSGO times.

I don't see Shinobi as an exception but still if he decides not to travel, I respect that.

This is just a suggestion guys.

posted about 3 years ago

yeah my bad will add it in the edits.

posted about 3 years ago

oops my bad. :/

posted about 3 years ago

This is not unheard of.

BTW if Shinobi is a full-time coach, he can just travel to India.

Even in CSGO a lot of coaches and players came from NA/EU to work full time. There are just so many examples.

There are rumours even Nitro was in talks to come to India as a pro player but Indian orgs could not afford him. (Just rumours and GodL Haivaan has kinda confirmed it, but I would still not exactly believe this as 100% true.)

Edit: Guys it was Niko not Nitro :/ but still the point holds.

TBH I was honestly surprised that GE took down DWG.

It has to be their teamwork that has improved a lot since VCC finals. They were not overextending as they do. Util was good and trades and communication were also good.

Some hiccups on Ascent but it was DWG's map and they still did not get whitewashed at least.

Shinobi really has fed the guys at GE something. I think he should stay as a full-time coach and maybe explore a new region where he can find a lot of success.

Guys I found this guy.

VCT is Valorant Champions Tour which includes all the masters playoffs, regional games etc and not the finals.

He meant to say "include India in the next VCT circuit points format"

They were planning going to Thailand but never were able to due to Visa issues.

So they shifted from Mumbai to Chennai which is both closer to Hong Kong and Singapore relative to Mumbai.

GE still gets bad ping in Hong Kong (from professional game standards) but really good ping in singapore.

posted about 3 years ago

Hong Kong.

GE gets 60-70 ping there and DWG gets 50 on one of the Hong Kong servers.

On the other server its the opposite.

When in history have we ever faced something like racism when Indians are in power?

All the subspecies in the Indian continent bred with each other and formed no distinguishable races.

Now compare that to South Africa for example.

posted about 3 years ago

A lot of Indian accounts on vlr are fake flaggers and they make stupid comments just to potray a bad picture of India.

I would say all countries have 90% reasonable people and 10% unreasonable.

If I start pointing out people who just trash on other regions like India and are from NA/EU/KR, the list would be long but they justify themselves by bringing in results. India did not even get chances to prove themselves.

Obviously that does not mean that all people are looking down upon other regions. A lot of guys actually enjoy and support other regions.

posted about 3 years ago

ohh and BTW, since the concept of racism does not exist in India, people here do not take racial slurs as seriously as in other places. Not justified still but just so that you know why its happening.

posted about 3 years ago

It's from both sides tbh, to people in Korean chat were malding and calling India a poor country and whatnot.

The same with Indians who just hurl racist slurs like molecules of CO2 leaving your mouth during exhalation.

Rotten apples exist on both sides, it's just that India has a large population and it will be more apparent at this point. NA chat is equally toxic in their games.

It's wise to just ignore them instead of reading them or working yourself about it. It's not about countries.

I agree that there are so many problems with Damwon but the same could be said for GE as well -

ping adaptation - we know that Chennai and Korea are going to have ping issues. GE has always played tournaments on 8 ping or LAN like conditions, same for DWG.

internet issues - GE set up a new bootcamp and were getting unstable internet. Quite a lot of tech pauses were taken cause SkRossi and Hellranger were disconnecting again and again.

never having played an official outside korea - GE did not even get an opportunity to do so.

map pool (can only play 3/4 maps) - Honestly, GE has a big advantage. They play nearly all the maps in the pool but this is the fault of the team.

Hope they work on it as much as possible in the tournament and give a good fight in the lower bracket. They played well tbh.

posted about 3 years ago

Not GE, GE still crushed them in the maps they won.

They beat VLT once and came close to VLT another time.

posted about 3 years ago

Team Exploit is from Pakistan and a pretty good team.

TE GE and VLT seem to be at the same level at least during VCC.

However, TE's IGL storax left the team and went to NA which weakened the team and VLT has taken up DEATHMAKER who is probably as good as SkRossi but did not have a good team and they are killing it. Now that he has a good team he is shining.

Current rankings local rankings in my opinion VLT > GE > TE but all are within 10% of each other still.

Did you say this just because you saw his flag?

He did not mention GE/DWG or even APAC LCQ.

This is an totally independent post.

posted about 3 years ago

wait wtf?

I expected DWG to win but GE to give a good fight.

Though everyone from GE stepped up and they won.

Regardless good game to watch.

GGs Damwon also played well!

WTF is this?

Local tournaments in tier 3 regions have better production.

Did they even have any money left after Berlin?

About 6-7 teams have those facilities like bootcamps, PCs, scrimms etc. But yeah after that it detiorates.

This is putting too much credit to Paper Rex.

We cannot really say that there is a huuuuge gap between Paper Rex and other teams (We have not seen them play against really good SEA teams so far and they had a recent roster change).

The best team in SEA? Sure.

SS tier? Sure. But I doubt even if a team of the caliber of Gambit was based in SEA, they do not for a gap huge enough to be rated 2-3 tiers above Team Secret or X10.

The rest of the list is more or less ok.

Big Realization.

oh and BTW, a dish that comes to your country comes in a consumable form that will not kill you.

Imagine upvoting your own comments just to give yourself an illusion that you are winning the arguments KEKW.

posted about 3 years ago

Your arguments -

1) "They are gonna get aim diffed so hard lmao".
Did not work out

2) "Choosing breeze against a team that is 2 tiers better than you is dumb af"
13-11 against a team 2 tiers above you, just because they chose breeze.

3) "Paper rex vs SMB V2"

Paper Rex had no chance of winning Breeze.
Anubis was in a significant lead and could have even won the map. 13-11 score regardless.

If you are still insistent on the fact that G2 2-0 Anubis, yeah, no surprises here Sherlock.

posted about 3 years ago

11-13 for a new team is good enough.

Paper Rex vs SMB was much worse.

Copium at its best that Anubis bought it so close to G2.

Says someone who literally comes in and comments on a thread titled "Favorite Manga?"

posted about 3 years ago

Too bad it was dropped cause the UI actually looks decent.

I assume

Some questions though,

1) Is it just frontend or do you have any backend for this as well?

2) If you actually continued this, were you seriously gonna host this somewhere? Like without ads you won't get any revenue and without revenue, you would end up with at least a few thousand dollars (or lacks of rupees) in loss every month.

Just hosting a few bucket instances around the world worth a good TB of anime would cost a lot. On top of that, you would have to run database instances/ load balancers / figure out some sort of video codec. No way you were actually gonna do this right?

posted about 3 years ago

in VLT, everyone plays their own game.

They do not set up duelists like they are supposed to do.

Marzil on KJ, hellf on astra and rite2ace on skye are just duelists if you look at their playstyle.

GE asks SkRossi to go and get frags as they help him by utility.

SkRossi won't do shit on a team like VLT.

Unrated is based off your MMR. It does not just randomly put players of any ranks into an unrated game.

How could the MMR of a silv1 and a current immo 3 (just 2-3 games away from radiant) be the same?

I assume this silv 1 friend of mine popped really hard and his MMR reached low plat levels. This Radiant lost pretty hard and his MMR came close to high plat and hence the match happened, but still do you really think this is how it should work?

posted about 3 years ago

So my friend in silver 1 was playing unrated and guess what?

It was a fucking stacked lobby.

He just sent 1 friend req to a guy and that guy turned out to be immo 3 and last rank radiant.

Just how skewed can you make a game? Seriously? A radiant and silv 1 in the same game?

posted about 3 years ago

Ok, so I see a lot of people sharing make-up ideas.

Let's be real about it, there are some constraints -

1) You cannot meet your friends physically (if you could just give them the HD and they can copy it).
2) Your internet seems to not be an issue as you are ready to mail/upload on drive this content worth 512 GB. The same with your friends as they will have to ultimately download those as well.
3) The major limitation seems to be Google drive's limit and or other services.

If you want to do it the proper way (how a guy in IT would do it) what you need to create is an FTP server. Now this will take a decent chunk of your time trying to figure it out from scratch. Luckily there are some easy-to-use programs with GUI to help us out.

https://filezilla-project.org/

use this, download the server for yourself and ask your friends to download the client. Now the disadvantage of this is the fact that you need to keep your PC on while they download the files. What I recommend is you do this over 3-4 days downloading 150GB each day over 3-4 hours or something (This also depends on your internet speed so take your time).

If you have an old PC or Raspberry pi (if you know what that is) lying around, that would be an ideal case just run this FTP server on that PC and keep it on 24/7 for a few days and let your friends download it.

Crunchyroll does not list all anime in India and the same is true for a lot of countries.

It's listed on Netflix instead.

posted about 3 years ago

I believe it's on netflix. It appeared in the "New releases for you" section.

Bringing another cuisine to your own country does not make it yours.

Do you have any original dishes?

I thought so.

Yes NY city has perhaps every cuisine you could think of but the same is true for nearly every big city in the world. At this point, it just falls down to the capacity of a restaurant to represent itself.

1) Don't touch spiders

2) A lot of versions of spiderman were never bit by a spider. Instead, he used his brain to make web-shooters and a suit. In fact, a lot of editions of spidermen are not even superhuman but just a kid with some fancy tech.

Basically what you are saying is that US does not have its own food.

Cause burgers and cheeseburgers can also not be called American food as there are just as many versions of Burgers in EU or India as there are in the US.

The origins also suggest it came from EU.

posted about 3 years ago

US cause they have sweet dishes for breakfast.

Like how does one even stay alive that way?
