Actual braindead person?

I am talking about Brazil LCQ and as a comparison, tournaments in South Asia where South Asian/Brazillian teams play each other.

The viewers have to watch the entire tournament my man.

Nobody agrees stfu kid.

A reminder that this argument took place cause you got mad that an Indian is supporting PRX.

You just "assumed" that he thinks India is part of the circuit (which BTW India is).

posted about 2 years ago

A lot of Non-Korean people watch Korean games. I think some guy casting the KR VCT in English put out this fact but most of the viewers of the KR circuit are not Korean.
Heck, even Indian people watch Korean and NA circuits but not their own. The population factor is there but the local crowd is just disappointed by the performance of the teams.

Stage 1 had much more viewership.

posted about 2 years ago

Where exactly is your crowd?

2K people max in a country known for FPS games.

Forget India, most Asian countries would fill stadiums like that within hours.

Even brazil got more tickets than Copenhagen.

These countries have serious problems of modern slavery where they bring in people from other countries and confiscate their passports to restrain them to work for very low wages.

You need some lessons on stuff happening around the world right now.

You know barely 1-3% of the people in India have access to computers, right?

Out of that the percentage of people having computers when they are young, especially 15-24 is even lower.

When you compare it accordingly, 60K viewers is insane, especially when you compare the history of eSports events in India.

Moreover, people who play the game don't necessarily follow esports. Only around 20-30% of the people actually watch esports and out of that only 10-20% would watch local tourneys. Most watch clips on Youtube or tune in for significant events like Champions/Masters.

Almost everyone who has dipped their hands in eSports games in India has tried valorant.

Minecraft?

I am pretty sure less than 10% people play Minecraft.

eSports titles and AAA games take 80% of the market share in India.

Casual games like Indie games/Minecraft or other popular games like Genshin and maybe rhythm games are barely played.

Although yes Minecraft does take the most popular spot in the non-esports, non-AAA game category.

posted about 2 years ago

It must be really low in that case. Anything above 80% works.

If you get less than 80% that is like really low if you are applying for a PhD that too at an IIT.

If he had more than 80% then there was some other factor surely.

Paper Rex are from MY/SG region in APAC.

There are teams from Phillipines in APAC.

ORDER represented OCE in APAC.

There are no "SEA" slots in APAC. There are SA slots, OCE slots and then slots for countries in SEA.

SA and OCE both belong to APAC which is what Paper Rex represented as.

dumbfuck

Did you recently learn this word?

LMAOO calling me dumbfuck.

I am pretty sure any India who has had 4 stars on this website at this point knows that SEA is not India.

Also you cannot even be sure if this guy is Indian. Plenty of Fake flaggers on this website.

Also you original point also makes no sense. Paper Rex is a APAC team now. There is no SEA region in Valorant. Are you suggesting that Phillipines cannot support Paper Rex? Cause South Asia is just as close as Paper Rex as Phillipines or Oce or Vietnam is.

LCQ? They played LCQ from Chennai?

Except Asia has the higher viewership?

In India, not so much. He is correct in saying this for MBA. I believe 10 grade marks, 12 grade marks are criteria for MBA admissions in good universities in India.

For PhD its mostly on your graduation and your CG in Bachelors and masters or just bachelors if you are directly pursuing PhD.

day 1 of asking Azzlack to keep his promise and delete his account for good.

When did that happen? They just visited Bleed for a while/they rented their PCs for the first time they went to SG.

The second time they went to Singapore they rented out a space in Reality Rift.

posted about 2 years ago

Is this something to show off? They don't have a proper BootCamp.

They have just borrowed a small room in a PC store which sponsors them and they utilize all their facilities.

You should maybe compare PRX BootCamp with other orgs like Bleed. They literally have a mansion.

Heck even Indian orgs like GE, VLT, Enigma and OGT have proper bootcamps.

posted about 2 years ago

He is supporting SEA in that case? You have to be a nut-case if you think that you can only support teams from your country.

posted about 2 years ago

Still this guy is saying that they are making a flawless run. They already lost to Guild in the first matchup so its over since day 1.

posted about 2 years ago

There is certainly a gap between PRX and other teams but its not that huge. After that there are a good number of teams on a very similar level. Moreover, Xerxia, Team Secret are not too bad. All of them have had good performances, just no one peaked as hard as PRX.

WDYM? They already lost to guild

Really? I remember cricket games to be much more expensive.

But 2K is pretty normal for an event like this.

Its not in the hands of Riot. Altho yes the country option is bad.

I don't think they are mad about streamers streaming at night.

Some of these players are known for streaming 8-12 hours like proper content creators like XQC. 8-12 hours is your entire working day, when do you practice then?

could be a nice change of taste.

Arguing with an APAC fan

You are an EU frog shut the fuck up.

posted about 2 years ago

Fnatic this event. Wanted to support them but the delusional EU baiters need a reality check.

posted about 2 years ago

You have to be stupid if you think that the org matters and not the team itself.

The Paper Rex roster could be signed by any other org and they would still be the same team. While if Paper Rex signed different players, it would be a different team.

Just take the L and move on.

posted about 2 years ago

They lost to SMB with a different roster.

With the current roster they are still 6-0.

They replaced Shiba who was really struggling and basically lied to his mom about going to Berlin because of unsupportive parents.

Then you have Jingg who is easily top raze in the world and has a much better environment around him.

posted about 2 years ago

The thing is EU has so many slots they can just fight between each other and manage to get top 4

posted about 2 years ago

They only helped out the content creation + sponsor opportunities for GE.

Its basically like a company hiring a HR specialisation company to hire for them.

They do not manage GE in any manner.

posted about 2 years ago

It says its possible that KR is getting 3-4 slots but that does not make sense as franchising does not care about subregion and just sees APAC as a whole. If it cared about subregions like KR getting 3-4 slots then other regions like South Asia and Oceania would be guaranteed 1 slots but we know that is just not true.

Idk about the Dallas event but CSGO events hosted in Asia, especially Beijing had some of the saddest crowds ever.

Moreover, just look at the Tokyo LAN, literally 20K people showed up for it.

Valorant has a huuuge fanbase in Asia, I think if Rito hosts any event in Asia 10K people at least would join for sure.

Even Mumbai will have multiple thousands of people coming to watch if an international LAN takes place and the tickets are cheap. Valorant is pretty big here.

So country does matter and CSGO is not immune to this rule either. Idk what Rito expected when they hosted the event in Denmark the birthplace of Astralis.

What do you think SEN is?

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah IG, its a matter of purchasing power. The Uber driver also has to make enough money to support his expenditure.

India has everything for cheap for comparison. So people do not need to make insane amounts to money to live good lives.

posted about 2 years ago

He is not wrong though. SG is one of the richest countries.

posted about 2 years ago

If you are still living the "Fnatic looks so weak even full sense will beat them" narrative then I don't know what to tell you.

posted about 2 years ago

DRX is still a better team though.

posted about 2 years ago

wdym? Fnatic was a solid team even and made top 8 they just got upset by KRU who were really amazing during champs.

posted about 2 years ago

When have I said KRU is not a good team.

Altho they have not been as good as DRX still.

KRU in masters 1 Reykjavik 2021 was probably not as good as Nuturn the KR counterpart.

Moreover, a lot of their series have not looked competitive against actual top-quality teams. DRX has looked much better overall making playoffs in pretty much all tournaments except 1.

Remember Masters Berlin where DRX was placed in the group of death? Everyone was unsure if DRX will make it out but they topped their group and it was not even close.

I don't think it is wrong to say that they are contenders for the trophy in every tournament they walk into. They just have some weird affinity with group stage matches and some sort of allergy to lower bracket games.

As I said before, They are not one of those "100% winning this tournament" teams like Fnatic was this masters nor those teams you are unsure about coming into playoffs like Leviatan and XSET. You know they will always get a top 8 at least or top 4 finish in the tournament. It is just one of those tournaments they need where the stars align and they lift a trophy. Because they definitely seem to show the potential to do so.
