Because the guy is a menace.
Never seen him lose his calm.
His calling is extremely good, insane firepower and his flexibility to play every agent at such a high level whilst being the IGL is absurd.
Chronicle and kiNgg are, for me the 2 best Valorant players in the world, Chronicle being the undisputed goat having 2 international trophies.

Quite respectfully tho, what is Ze1sh's rank?
Coz he doesn't seem to be immortal and beyond and to make the team THAT much better despite being a clear significant and apparent firepower downgrade, I'll give Ze1sh

Bro Sayf with the NRG roster would slap so hard.
No joke that roster and I'd have my flair for NRG because I like all 5 of them and their chemistry would be insane

Fr. FNS just has some next level Haven understanding. They just fell for a fake round and people overracting as if they're trolling when in fact even 2 of eco rounds were pretty close.

posted about a year ago

The server simply crashed and they're replaying till they match the kills, ult and in game economy and the number of rounds.

Sadly Covid 2-0 Derke
Hopefully he gets over that too

I mean I don't see the reason not to.
Dephh is no doubt a good pro but Shahz is a clear upgrade from firepower to shot calling.
I personally don't like Shahz that much either but I do think he might be a better fit.
Again, the 2021 roster worked because of their team chemistry so this being a new core might go the other way too.
But given he was doing all that without a coach is commendable

How many "domestic" titles do you think Optic competed for?

Recently his aim has looked better than even Suygetsu. Like honestly Ange1 haters should just watch him own their teams.

Yeah tbh, Wronski hasn't looked the most comfortable on the Kay/O role.

I'm not exactly a GE fan. It's just a scenario for many teams. GE example came to me simply because everyone were a star duelist player so balancing the roles is the most challenging on GE compared to other teams.
Another example is Nivera from KC, Mix well from Heretics and many others.

posted about a year ago

Yeah.
That isn't like exactly the case, but rather just an example to put forth my point.
Balancing overall skill bridge vs One trick but sacrifice a class of agent.

W TLDR from me, thanks for your time Delusional_Shahzam_Fan

posted about a year ago

TLDR : Read everything starting from In Real terms... From the main post

posted about a year ago

Sometimes it's not about a certain pro being good at a certain agent. Talking specifically for teams like GE and KC which had a complete new roster startup.
At times it could be that a certain player is not as good of a player in his role, but you're better at that role.
For eg, imagine player A is an S tier Jett and an S tier Kayo/Skye
Player B is an A tier Jett and an B tier Kayo/Skye.
The skill disparity from the Jetts is just one tier, (S -> A) but the flex one is of 2 tiers (S -> A -> B)
So overall it's better to put player B on Jett and Player A on the flex (depending on map)
In real terms, it's more like texture maybe a better Jett than SkRossi but because SkRossi is not as good as a Sova / Breach / Skye, Texture will play the flex and SkRossi goes Jett.

Unironically that's what happened. Verno 1 tapped Sheriff Yay when he would Op multiple rounds.
He's died the most to Verno, so in a way yes Verno diffed him, and unfortunately, he hard diffed him

I'd say by that Chronicle is the one true goat, having 2 international Lan victories and still performing S tier on every agent you put him on

GenG k1ng and Lev kiNgg both.

KiNng and chronicle for playing flex and almost every agent at its maximum potential, with KiNng even IGLing

An interesting idea I've always had was this :

  • increase the range by a little bit
  • I actually don't mind the single TP anchor point, just again increase the range of it.
  • either give him both the trips back within the range or 1 trip without any range
This one's the most interesting for me tho :
  • Ult would be only 3 bullets, for every 2 kills you get, one extra bullet gets added to the shell.
So realistically if you hit every shot, you can still kill 5 and get the ace but you need to be precise. Revert back any delays added to the gun to justify the 3 bullet mag
posted about a year ago

I highkey agree with you.
There's two sides tho, one role / one agent mains that absolute thrive in it (Derke, Leaf, Sayf)
While others finding high value on different agents across different roles (KiNng, Chronicle, Ethan)

posted about a year ago

Chronicle has to be in these lists.
He's the best flex you can ever ask for who plays every agent at its maximum potential.

Fr. This is either some absurd amounts of L baiting or just absolute brain-dead

posted about a year ago

All I'll say is watch KiNng do that absurdly insane play on haven against XSET at map, match and series point.
That for me, has to be the most iconic caster reaction

Also why not sign will or someone else as the 6th man?
You can have them fill in when Someone isn't feeling it

I read all of that too
Cryo channel your inner willfps man

posted about a year ago

Yeah the only way I see it is, probably age wise being a young player but again they just don't have the same attack execute energy.
This is the worst part of poaching someone who's skilled at one thing. The moment they start underperforming, you're in trouble.

posted about a year ago

Thought about that too, and again it didn't make sense to me why Asuna wasn't the one playing Raze on split.
Sure Cryo statistically should be a better Jett than Asuna but Asuna is one of the better Raze and Neon players.
NRG also made few changes after going 13-4 down and Ardiis on KJ looked comfortable.

posted about a year ago

Indeed.
Sean Sgares Gares time out used to be the most deadly strat any team could ever get.
Now they look so randomly fallen out.

posted about a year ago

First they dropped Dicey for Ethan (W trade, but you dropping an Oper in a meta where Jett Op just became popular)
Then they rebuilt with Ec1s and BabyJ and that didn't turn out well
Finally this is the recent trade :
Will is a W raze, a proven Lan Fragger and a W entry as a duelist.
He wasn't the best Oper.
They trade will for Cryo when the Chamber Op heavy meta was already done.
Cryo is one of the most passive Duelists I've ever seen. This does not help their case man.
Like they paid the highest contract rn to get this.
It's been many matches and Cryo hasn't shown his form, close to what he was in XSET.
Idk what's cooking in their centre.

posted about a year ago

Will's entry was pretty good.
He was a W raze.
He proved himself on Lan.
His only downside was not being an Oper in a Op heavy meta
F for William

posted about a year ago

Leaf on his worst day diffs majority of NA Duelists.
His Jett was insane, I remember when C9 had Xeta and Leaf was on full time Jett, rarely saw him underperform

Sheydos hasn't IGL'ed yet so not sure on that part.

posted about a year ago

Naah man☠️
As a liquid fan they have many issues to fix yet and firepower is also one of it.
Watch TMV's recent video.
Their strats haven't been effective.

posted about a year ago

Lmao I'm not basing this off of one game. Ever since he joined liquid he hasn't been able to perform the way he used to.
And that's perfectly fine. It's just that everyone reads him now.
Your first line just proves playing a different agent could also have helped, like KillJoy.
I know his potential. But this just seems bad not because he isn't lurking well, But because he is getting out aimed on many maps.
That's just me tho, and I hope he gets back to the beast that he is.

In the end, They won an international trophy tho.

Surely this is the biggest someone fell off after having the highest peak no?
I thought here we'd be having a roster in contention for being one of the bests
Edit : Not speaking purely game sense wise. Even with his aim, he hasn't looked the sharpest.
But meh, I'm also not considering that he hasn't played on LAN since a year.
And that's okay, with time I hope Liquid fill in those holes and

My guy, I acknowledged Fnatic defeating Liquid that map, I credited Fnatic for being the best team, atleast in EMEA.
All I said was, the previous issues (individual stepping up and lack of team work) they seemed to look much better.
And that's problematic for you?
So I should troll?

posted about a year ago

Sayf stepped up across many maps
Jamppi was a demon as well
Redgar also individually stepped up, with this map.
SoulCas played well on Lotus now but he needs to step up too.
Nats man. His peak was way way higher. Just hope he wakes up soon.

posted about a year ago
  1. Liquid played the exact same comp they did back then and Boaster studied them pretty good.
  2. Odin go Brr W strat.
  3. Liquid's cohesion and team play looks better as a whole.
  4. Fnatic is the best team in the world as you said, so this was to be expected.
  5. Fnatic strat for Half shields being used by liquid shut down by the Odin.

GG to Fnatic and regardless a good map. Just hope others turn up especially Nats. So far everyone individually have stepped up except for Nats and SoulCas (Who did extremely well too in this map)
