I think it depends on team. It all comes down to which team is more flexible with agent pool. You can also go without duelist like some of them do but you have to be exceptionally good at it.

The problem with dicey is that he is not that flexible. I mean the man can op and is nuts on Jett. But you need versatility in the team. You cant work with a single player who simply plays Jett on every single map. This blocks their duelist choices. He needs to evolve with other agents
If you want to learn how to bait watch Hiko, else you should watch Shahzam, TenZ, Asuna, Scream, Shroud can be helpuful too, Average Jonas can teach you pretty insane trick shots, tarik, Grimm if you are Sage main, Wardell(he is fun to watch+insane plays), Subroza(he is humble guy). You have so many options. Choose whatever that matches your schedule.

Sentinels buy TenZ to win. They can maybe put Sinatraa as 6th player. so in certain matches if one of the players are not feeling it than sinatraa can step up. like in split. Theus way they can guarantee their win with more flexibility in roster
Zombs is good. The fact that cant be the best player in NA is because he plays the role of controller. He cant risk his life taking aggressive peek like TenZ does cuz if he does and dies then they wont be able to retake without smokes. Therefore he always sits back and support the team . He technically helps tenz and Sick to play the way the do because they are comfortable with his role and they kno0w zombs will back them up. If you compare duelist and controller then you are more delusional than expected.
