I'm pretty sure Paper Rex has to win one match in Berlin to qualify to champions by points instead of Bren. Right now though, Bren would qualify because their stage 3 performance was better (won the finals of SEA playoffs).
They might have to tweak their pickem system for that cause they've only had one pickem per event until now and also no group stages (As far as I know). My guess would be that there will probably only be pickems for the knockout stage.
Thanks for the explanation! I thought it was decided by overall round difference due to VLR's and Liquid's visualization but that makes much more sense.
I don't get it. Anyway I look at it, X10 has a better round win/lose difference, even if that one forfeited map is valued as a 13 - 0. Is it calculated by round wins and then head to head?
Every team that beats Sentinels is better than Sentinels!
Top 3 of NA: Andbox, XSET and Built by gamers!
Edit: I just realized my flair checks out.
If we are talking about a franchised league system (which we are): https://www.esportsguide.com/news/understanding-the-industry-what-is-esports-franchising
True, but it will most likely happen.
You sent the wrong link bro you have to get the one with vlr.gg/pickem/some_id. This will just bring us to our own pickem
What's important to note is in some other part of the podcast, mixwell says that countering cNed is not necessarily the problem but rather to counter cNed while not being destroyed by the rest of the team as a lot of people forget that the other 4 members of Acend are also cracked.
Idk man. Acend members are hyping Gambit up and I think they are pretty credible (Bonecold in some prematch interview from Challengers Week 1, zeek on his Showstopper episode). Ultimately, we'll have plenty of CIS/TR/EU comparison material when the stakes are high at the EMEA playoffs.
It might still be unfair but it makes sense when Oxygen is higher seeded than both Liquid and NAVI. This reddit post has a list that shows the seeding (at least this seeding would make sense if you look at the bracket composition, I'm not too sure where it is from): https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/owil1v/alternative_stage_3_emea_bracket_if_cis_was/

I believe the Korean stream overlapped and I think there was also a risk of the eu final going over all five maps making it close to the na final in schedule.
"awards much-needed circuit points"
Does it? The Liquipedia page doesn't show any circuit point rewards in the Challengers Finals. Is this a mistake? Have the rewards not been announced yet?
