underrated if anything. Carried SEN to the challengers 2 closed qualifier and his popularity gave SEN a franchised spot.
Sentinels isn't dropping him, it's the other way around. His contract runs out in November and he is still one of the hottest properties in valorant alongside yay, also Nadeshot is a big fan!

They should but if there's bidding war going on for them I do think it's not too bad to retain shaz and get controller, flex players that can frag out. Like get zekken, marved or trent etc.
My first conditions for him to stay on the playing roster would be to cut back streaming hours. I didn't like how he was streaming till late hours even the night before his games. He was justifying it by saying that people wouldn't care if he was just watching anime and shit offline which wasn't an argument made in good faith imo.
Is he the best IGL in NA? No. Is he the best Initiator in NA? No but he isn't the worst either. Let's be honest, Shahz hasn't had the best circumstances with this team in 2023. To start with, he didn't have a coach for most of the yr and he had one it was a rookie coach. SicK, arguably the most important player on this roster was suffering a role crisis and then took a sabbatical in the middle of the Challengers tournament. Even though he green lighted it, signings like kanpeki, shroud weren't the most inspiring in terms fielding a competitive roster. To me it feels like the org wanted to wait for franchising and wanted to make do with clout for the mean time. I can't blame all that on ShahZam only. With 4 competent players and a good coaching stuff alongside him I still think he can deliver.
TL:DR- ShahZam didn't have the best set of circumstances in 2022 with SicK leaving, no coach to getting a sub per coach and then the org not being committed to winning. With a competitive and competent roster in 2023 he can still deliver. Bar FNS and may be dephh, I don't see many IGLs that can do the job better than him.
May be look at from another perspective? Not buying a LCS spot saves them millions of dollars that they can invest in their valorant team? No one has infinite money, even if SEN were owned by Jeff Bezos they would still look to make money of their investment. And as for C9 yay, I think leaf would gladly give up OPing for yay and vanity would choose the same. Leaf was always a rifle duelist anyway.
SEN would be a surprise move for sure cz there are a lot of uncertainties around us. Even TenZ isn't for certain cz his contract runs out.

I don't think Chet would like Rawkus as his assistant since OpTic players have openly criticized SEN playstyle and team comps. Don't think they rate him. And as for mCe, would he want to be second fiddle? don't think so.

It's not cancel culture, it's just human nature to be opinionated. You still have to submit visa papers and other paperworks, it's just extra hassle imo if you know you are not gonna stay and your org knows they are not gonna keep you. Also there's a third party tournament in october which can be an opportunity to try out new rosters and trial players.
