You don't need much to be a KJ player. Setups that your coach shows you and have insane lurk timing which goes the same for every sentinel mains. Cypher is the true sentinel imo. Fade is the only initiator he was comfy on. Didn't like sova or breach so I think 'Sentinel' is the only category i could have put him on.

I could see several teams having 6 men rosters.

I have tenz on the list but not so sure about shaz anymore.

Top 30 NA players that should be in the franchised league imo-

Initiators:
Crashies
BcJ
Eeiu
Trent
Derrek

Controller:
Marved
Bang
Valyn
Vanity
Moose
Hon mention: skuba
Supamen

Duelist:
Yay
TenZ
Babybay
leaf
Cryo
corey
sayaplayer
jawgemo
Will
Hon mention: bdog

Flex:
Victor
Xeppa
Asuna
JonahP
Zekken
Dicey
SicK
Hon mention: s0m

Sentinel:
FNS
Aproto
dapr
Dephh
Hon mention: mitch

Since the introduction of Chamber and traditional sentinel agents like cypher and KJ being incredibly week, I think the role of a sentinel main has become obsolete hence I put less than 5 sentinel players on the main list. I feel like having a full time sentinel player isn't worth it anymore, rather I would have a player who can play cypher/kj occasionally but can easily switch to other roles and perform well. Feel free to give your honest opinion.

What's with people thinking zander is a god or something? Valyn is a much better igl and a better controller imo.

triple initiator without rigorous game plan and a duelist to take advantage of the util is just dumb. No one does it like that in majority of maps. I remember a game against FaZe on haven where 3 guys where breach ulted on C site haven and no one was there to follow up on it.

posted about 2 years ago

The feeling I got from his tweet is that he doesn't mind staying with TGRD but I don't think he would pass up on a franchise team if he is given the freedom to build the team.

posted about 2 years ago

Bro made them play triple initiator cz apparently chamber is a duelist. Is your chamber OPer/ or even rifler supposed to run in first and die? How a chamber gonna create space like a raze or a jett and who is gonna hold that space and play off of the triple initaitor flashes?? That shit was baffling! No wonder FNS called zellsis out on it live on stream.

posted about 2 years ago

What is that? No way you think SEN has had a legacy like SKT and the core players are past their prime.

posted about 2 years ago

mCe is literally a FA rn. What he did with bunch of no namers in TGRD is incredible

posted about 2 years ago

You think rawkus is good enough? Also, We literally have role issues cz we don't have an entry fragger except TenZ who has stated multiple times that he doesn't like entrying and would rather play a secondary fragger/OP role.

Just visited the Sentinels vlr page and we haven't beaten a top top team in a year and a half. Ik that we have gone through some shit but no way ShahZam & Co. can be excused for this shambolic track record. If there's smoke, there's fire. When FNS joked about SEN doing the least amount of prac he wasn't saying things out of his ass. We can't blame this on one person and get done with it. We need massive overhaul and we need to start with a legit coach. Discuss..

SEN was the most popular valorant team well before shroud and Tarik.

posted about 2 years ago

CS nerds always have a way of getting things wrong related to valorant. A lot of orgs invested early into valorant so are they all going to be partnered for the val league? By design some teams were going to be left out, that's the reality! look at Don Haci spewing bullshit out of nowhere lmao, as if orgs made valorant popular. None of the legacy orgs like G2, TSM has done anything significant in valorant and aren't the most popular teams or anything. CS boomers always assuming shit that they have no clue about.

TenZ singlehandedly got SEN a franchised spot. L bozo

OpTic combined clout surpasses s0m

posted about 2 years ago

yes they are but obviously they would want to stick together since they have gotten so much success together and NRG has deep pockets to satisfy their financial demands.

posted about 2 years ago

NRG will sign the full OpTic roster. Calling it now cz I am more reliable than Leorge Leddes.

posted about 2 years ago

People call him a one trick Andy but he actually tried playing a hit or miss agent like Raze, unlike certain someone who got to take the full advantage of the chamber meta and rightly so. Victor is one of the best razes in the world and he had some stinker performances on that agent just cz it's so hit or miss based on how your team/opponent is playing and how difficult it is to master. SEN didn't even think to put their OPer and main fragger on chamber initially cz 'oh who would entry!!' Since he started playing chamber after the first nerf he went negative in 1/8 matches(19-20) and had respectable numbers for someone whose team was getting shit on. And now chamber is getting nerfed again next yr and bc of this 'get a free pick tp away' agent we will just forget how impressive going 19-2 in FB:FD in the Finals no less was playing Raze, Reyna in the mix! It could have been different, in a different team at a different time.

He said ADS is strong and that's why he has been using it lately. If anything he is copying it and learning from yay. How is it jealousy?

posted about 2 years ago

How do you link chamber being broken to yay? LMAO. Is yay the only chamber itw? TenZ himself is a chamber player and did pretty well in the LCQ!

100T bdog
SEN corey
NRG Cryo
Calling it now. Thank me later.

3 of them are out of contract at the end of the year and 2 of them( yay & marved) has longer contract since they are the recent signings. So, if OpTic decides to stay in valo, I think it would be hard for them to stay together since rationally the FA 3 would want to get to the league and OpTic would ask for incredible amount of money for arguably the best player and the best controller in the game.

posted about 2 years ago

Are they, really? Don't they have one of the best CoD team? Also, they are under the banner of ENVY, which is a financially stable org, no?

posted about 2 years ago

Does HECZ have beef with RIOT or something? How can a legendary org and current best NA team not get into the franchisee league? Makes no sense!

posted about 2 years ago

EG over OpTic/TSM?? Nah, that's just cap.

Glory hunters shouldn't talk about success then cz no one can stay on top forever except glory hunters like you.

your name is 100T_bdog with a OpTic flag! Pick a side man 😭

BR is literally a one team region, rest are comparable to NA t2 or t3 teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Admit it or not, NA orgs are the most reliable options for RIOT so I would be surprised if NA doesn't get 6 spots then one of the NA orgs can go pick up a SA roster or a mixed roster. That would be the best outcome for viewership and competition.

Kcorp nAts

posted about 2 years ago

6 tournaments 6 different teams crowned as champions, that says how volatile the competition still is in valorant. With franchising no team is gonna stay where they are, they are gonna try to be better. Even OpTic might make roster changes since there will so many tier1 FAs and so much resources available to the franchised orgs. Why would you sign a whole ass roster that wasn't even the best in NA and had a sub per performance in masters 2?

posted about 2 years ago

As if xset has won a whole lot of trophies in 2022!

posted about 2 years ago

I don't see the drive in shaz anymore. This man used to do hours of vod review before matches and then come out with a big smile on his stream after getting the better of Steel, FNS etc. But now it seems he doesn't care. He puts more effort into justifying hours streaming the night before a match than actually trying to win a match. His fakes doesn't work, can't guess the enemy stacks and let's not talk about the horrendous agent picks.

posted about 2 years ago

I think he is. imo he role wise just couldn't fit into any of the teams he played for. He is one of the best raze players, was really good on chamber even though he didn't OP before and was hands down one of the best fraggers when Reyna was viable. I think he would be most effective with similar roles Victor plays at optic.

posted about 2 years ago

Duelist- Corey
Secondary fragger+OP- TenZ( Honestly I would prefer him on rifles but he has stated many times that he doesn't want to be the first one in so..)
Initiator- EEIU
Flex- SicK/trent ( depending on how SicK is feeling)
Controller+ Sentinel= Aproto/ dapr ( nAts would be the dream signing but isn't likely)

IGL would be an issue initially but there aren't many top top IGLs available in the market anyway so I think it would be better to groom one of them into an IGL.
Since there are so many hybrid agents , I feel like it's not wise to sign players based on their roles only.
Coach- ??

If there's smoke there's fire. Honestly I don't expect much from Riot with this franchisee thing cz ik they are gonna disappoint big time, specially with the smaller regions.

GG. It's been fun but OpTic brought out the big gun. It's over for LOUD

They don't lose twice. Only bad things is that it went to 5 maps and OpTic showed a lot of stuff but they are still too flexible man!

Yeah that's understandable
