What is the definition of failure in your book? If they place top 8 in SP I would call that a success considering the lack of prac, mix of region and language etc but they gotta improve by the next masters imo.
posted a picture of subroza tournament winnings( $126k) vs Ethos winnings( $4k).
Bro ended him, subroza called out the Yoru clone! 😂 https://twitter.com/Subroza/status/1586476395986837505?s=20&t=DNOl701tGKZX4bRJLtqcjQ
That's why NA>>> and deserves much more intl. LAN than trashMEA.
Hope went nuclear and saved game 1. Monster
You guys worry too much about agents. How many agents does yay play? you put your star player on the most dominant agent! Previously it was Jett and now it's Chamber. TenZ literally played Raze, sage, chamber , yoru previously but still a one trick pony! You guys literally make up narratives in your head
yeah but that's like comment section anywhere
Don't follow everyone, only follow the accounts that you like.
no way rn! Literally the best platform if you have an interest and know who to follow. Like there's NBA twitter, football twitter, soccer twitter, it's fun to be a part of.
Former XSET analyst DrewSpark joins SEN as an analyst . Basically XSET 2.0 at this point but I don't mind tbh, xset had no big name on their roster but still were placing top 3-4 in NA consistently so I assume the coaching stuff had a lot of contribution to that success. Also, they are known for talent building( cryo, zekken, BcJ etc) which gives me hope that they can bring out the best of TenZ.
Yeah but VCT isn't a tournament, it's just path to Champions. So do you just call the league 'Americas'? That's boring and hard to understand without context.
People would confuse with CS anti cheat.
VAL? Nah that would be confusing. That's literally the short form of the game for most people.
'VCT Americas International league' is such a mouthful. We need something short and concise like 'OWL', easy to use and easy to understand. Valorant tournament names have always sounded so bad to me. Like ' Valorant champions tour Champions 2022 Turkey ', tf is that? All the tournaments and the league should be renamed next year imo. Pitch some ideas.
My Idea-
Valorant Major League- Americas
Valorant Champions League- EMEA
Valorant Premier League- Pacific
Masters
idk what to rename The Champions
TenZ
zekken
Dephh
Marved
trent
Scrim can start right away. No language barrier.
TenZ
zekken
Dephh
pANcada
sacy
World champions but have visa issues and create language barrier.
He isn't better informed. He is just a troll attention seeker. They are indeed in LA
Even short term it's fked. anywhere you go, anything you do you have to be scared that someone is watching and might try to hurt you
This is so fucked up! Can't imagine how scary it is for both of them https://youtu.be/rxJxW6OoTtA
It's not that EU pros don't stream , it's just that no one watches their stream so you don't know about it. I mean nAts is one of the familiar European pros and he streams almost everyday.
Consistently attended LANs. I agree that sliggy did some crazy experiments with team comps at times but mikes would be there to check on his craziest impulses. His viper setups on haven was ahead of it's time, he is an innovative coach that's for sure.
Fluked past VK with that cam glitch. Otherwise they would have went out in groups! Another example of riot trying to save EU.
It is! They have top players in every position and rumored to have a great coaching staff with sliggy joining.
He answered it on the interview with Wyatt. Basically his thought process was that he didn't want to start from ground zero with the next LAN being so close, so he chose a familiar figure who knows the protocol and everything and can be trusted. Also, it's hard to know the value of an IGL from outside looking in, yes zander or someone else might be a great fragger but it's hard to know their true worth as an IGL without knowing the inner workings of that team. Also, the perception of Dephh not being able to call defensive half isn't true, since Ayrin already had calling qualities from his prev experience in other esports and since it's easier to call defensive rounds as a site anchor, it was just a min-maxing decision to put Ayrin as the CT side IGL. So, basically he said that Dephh is qualified enough and syyko trusts him to do the job well.
RIOT has tried so much to bring attention to this region by giving partnered slots to clout orgs like Kcorp, KOI etc but to no avail. Two of their biggest teams played on LAN with their newest signings and no one watched that shit LMAO. Even EG would get more viewers if they played with their new roster! They have no superteam that is on the same level as 100T,SEN or NRG and their best team is a weakened FPX without Ardiis. This region can't be saved LMAO
AFAIR He woke up late for a match against Envy but then smoked them anyway, It was just a one time thing. She didn't say that being late was a daily occurrence !
you are obsessed man. Who told you that he doesn't wake up for prac?
They are doing server time already. It's hard to find good scrims rn since t2 teams aren't formed yet and only 3/5 partnered teams have announced their full roster with SEN being one of them. Ardiis is also not in NA yet so NRG is on the same boat.
He said that it's good enough to work with and also explaining setups, strategy etc on a drawing board wouldn't be that difficult imo.
3 major tournaments, masters 1 and then 2 LANs.
Outside looking in it's hard to quantify the success and quality of a coach imo. Because, in a lot of teams coach is just a figurehead who brings in a different perspective and works more as a coordinator than as an actual strategic decision maker. I don't how involved ENGHH was in GMB's strategy department but getting him as an assistant coach is a no brainer to me! Of course granted that he has no visa issues.
and the shade on how unmotivated Tenz was lol
It wasn't a shade. He didn't know what happened on the team and as he said he talked to all the prev members and got the vibe that there's a lack of motivation on the team, not just TenZ. Then he sat down with tenz and was convinced that tenz was still motivated and the public perception of him preferring to be a content creator wasn't true i mean obv cz his stream numbers were very low compared to most players! Why are you putting words to his mouth to paint a narrative? LMAO
Being competitive and being upset when you lose is bad mental? He did that after the map was over and FNS does that too. As long as it doesn't affect your decision making and performance in game it's no biggie.
Since you are a sane 100T fan I will make some concession, I may have exaggerated a bit. But Asuna is kind of a selfish player and by nature most duelists are cz they have self sufficient util but as a flex player(his new role) you can't always be selfish. He is inconsistent because of his feast or famine play style. He runs it down, all alone and against mediocre teams he would get good timings a lot of the times but against good teams it gets punished.
I see what you did there LMAO. But incase you are not trolling, I never said Asuna is bad I just said he is overrated cz people call him 'one of the best NA', a superstar etc. etc.
Victor has bad mental? wdym? He is one of the most selfless players itw
stats ain't everything. He hunts every eco. Always be right clicking his kayO flashes instead of setting up his teammates. I have never seen someone try to boost their stat as much as Asuna tbf.
Ok I will admit I don't know about Fayde but it was a dumb take by Trick as was pointed out by Doombros.
xeppa, zellsis, zekken, victor, all of them much better.
Derrek absolutely is better than Asuna and was the most vital player alongside bang in their LCQ run. There's no denying that.
I am not saying he is shit but he isn't one of the best players as some people make out to be. Xeppaa, Zellsis, Zekken, Victor, all of them are better flex+duelist player.
Didn't loads of IGLs and Coaches call you out on your dumb take about IGLing in T2? That's tough!
