If basing off s1mon's performance in Champions, that is called Rookie of the tournament. He didn't play for majority of the year so we can't classify as "of the year". Only answer is Karon who played since Kickoff, achieving 1st in kickoff, 2nd in madrid, 2nd in stage 1, 1st in shanghai, 1st stage 2. Only Champions where he didn't perform well should not affect as he was already in 5/6 grand finals regional/international probably more than anyone else in this year.

Arena goes blackout, no winner announced

I think Talon is valuing advancing to Upper Semi more than points.
If they win, yes they will have 7 points but if somehow TS manage to win Geng, not only TS also have 7 points but they faces Geng as well which is as good as being eliminated and if TS also wins the single elim, TS will have 8 points vs Talon 7 points.
So if they lose, they could completely avoid Geng in single elim which gives them a better chance to go Upper Semi which will also put them at 7 points and 1 step away from champions plus an additional chance in lower bracket
So its either win it, get 7 points chance to face geng or lose it, avoid geng and get 7 points by winning single elim

Both will be a banger match. Its the grand finals of the other end of the table and we get to see who will get the crown of the worse team in pacific

Stage 1 and Master Shanghai stats says otherwise,
Drx, Geng, KC, Fut, Kru, Lev all receive a bye in stage 1 playoff and all lost their opening
Prx, Edg, Fnc all receive a bye in master playoff and all lost their opening
Seems like getting a bye is a curse

If T1 loses 1 game from here, they need RRQ to not win any of the remaining games

posted 5 months ago

Them going into playoff is no longer dependent on themselves anymore, best they could go is 5-5 and DRX is already on 6, PRX is already on 5 win. RRQ, Geng, Talon, TS are all on 4 wins and just needed another win to go level with T1 if T1 wins everything. H2H also not looking good for T1 as they lost to PRX, Geng and Talon, so in case either of these teams somehow share the same number of wins with T1 in a 2 way tie, these teams will go above T1.

APAC trophy comes first, that should be the priority. If only relying on PRX, we may never win a single thing.

Early congrats to Apac vs America Grand Finals

T1 does not belong to this conversation

Another way of saying
"We suck but let's pull down another team so we don't seem to suck that much"

No t3xture in there is a crime, he was the reason why we even have a close series in gf against prx

DRX would offer a better chance for pacific to win, T1 got wrecked by PRX, at least DRX took a map off PRX. So yes, DRX, PRX and Geng should be the one to make it to shanghai. T1 got lucky to earn the ticket.

13-0'ed have no say in this

Only 1 result could qualify Sen
Sen wins 2-0
NRG lose 2-0
G2 lose 2-0
Any other scoreline, Sen is out. They would have to make up the round diff too.

For those unfamiliar with Singapore military, it is almost impossible to be exempted from serving (even an olympic champion still has to serve). Even if you have medical condition, you would be put into position which suits an individual the most. My guess is his military enlistment is being postponed to maybe 2025 and therefore he could be back for VCT this year. Once his medical review is over, he will still have to serve.

Not a chance. Olympics is representing the nation while Valorant is representing an organisation, so no deferment will be granted. Also, Valorant isn't as big as Olympic for Singapore to grant it.

My guess is they would ban Fracture and Haven but that leaves Ascent for EG to take which EG is pretty good at this map. So i feel banning Fracture and Ascent looks to have a better chance for PRX to win the series.

very true, c0m was so clutch in ascent, especially round 19
