Or if you rate VS higher than NA 2 or NA 3 then put NA 3 with EMEA 1 and move VS to a pool with a diff EMEA team
Yeah EMEA1 can still have the Latam team, they just get VS instead of an NA team in their pool, which all of the other EMEA teams would have.
I like it except group B has VS with an EU and NA team.
Swap KR1 and KR2 and I'm okay with it
It's pretty obvious that there are 8 top teams in this, and those 8 teams should all have a path to the playoffs.
Something similar to this:
Pool A
NA #1 & EMEA #4
Pool B
NA #2 & EMEA #3
Pool C
NA #3 & EMEA #2
Pool D
VS & EMEA #1
The rest of the teams fill randomly as it literally doesn't matter.
Agreed, i could see them having 2 EMEA teams in the same group only if theres no NA teams or no VS
"The only exception to this are teams from EMEA, which as a result of having the most representatives at the tournament, can have two teams drawn into a single group."
This should not be a thing.
Use common sense, Riot.
Figure it out.
