From several people, they were winning enough duels and rounds that a lot of their troll choices weren’t punishing them. They bought poorly but didn’t run out of money. They also benefited from not being counterstratted with their new gecko comp.

Apparently, killing all the defenders/attackers would already end the round but wingman might still plant or defuse after the point is awarded. This should just reduce confusion of what happens in the round.

I think the rating algorithm really doesn’t like high death count and low KAST. It has definitely been really punishing to entry duelists recently

I prefer committing to a character for the attack/defense interplay but in OW you at least get the option to swap to a counter.

It’s def impressive but they also played more than a full half worth of rounds in over time. It averages to about 27 kills in regulation which is less crazy but still very strong

Doesn’t matter any more, but the tiebreak uses the round differential among just the games between tied teams. Because big beat m3c 2-0, they have the best round differential.
