no, do not use VLR rating, i used every stat listed from acs to First deaths(not CL% or HS%), my own opinions/ eye test, and factored in results(both regular season and playoffs) into the list

While I'd like to say i did most of the heavy lifting, Geo did china by himself and Cleg helped give me a 2nd opinion a lot of the time.
although i do think i could claim most of the credit bc i am the one who talked to geo for him to do china, i'm not going to

traditionally, flex was the person who switched roles depending on if the map was double controller/double initiator/double duelist (but less so double duelist) while the other 4 ppl stayed the same

if you take out playoffs where GenG played "tougher opponents," Karon's stats go DOWN
and valorant is a team game you can't expect Sscary to carry his team to victory all on his own

he took the 3rd most 1st duels of anyone on bleed, and you are kinda supposed to stay alive on controller, smokes are the most important individual pieces of utility in this game besides ults, so besides clove, controllers shouldn't really be taking a lot of first duels. duelists, initiators, and in some cases, sentinels, should be taking fights before controllers

for # 25, purp0 was last in everything except FK (4th) and Fk-FD (2nd) and qutioner was better than purp0 at both of those

we didn't do this for anything except this, but
Bc they were all so close, for the 3rd EMEA slot, we ranked qutioner, purp0, marteen, keiko, and derke in FK, FK-FD, ACS, K/D, Kast, ADR, and KPR
on average the placements were:
Qutioner: 2
Keiko: 2.4
Marteen: 2.6
Derke: 3.6
Purp0: 4.4
so qutioner got the 3rd slot and keiko and marteen got the 2 honorable mentions

the ONLY spot where we had more than 2 HM's was Senti on international so that we had 2 international HM's per slot on average (12), so sadly purp0 did not make the cut

yes? the only thing karon has over sscary is results, and even then GenG went 5-5 this split in matches
Sscary was igling and was also statistically better in
K/D, ACS, KAST, ADR, KPR, FK, FK-FD ratio, FD. the only thing karon performed better in sscary in was APR

both performed better than alfajer imo
stats back this up, elite was debatably the best statistical player of the stage and tomazy is better than alfa in a lot of stats that matter for the anchor/ lurker.
I'd be ok with Alfa above tomazsy via results(1st vs 4th), they are kinda close, but saying Alfa performed better than Elite this stage is wrong

at shanghai it goes
Tied first EMEA/ Americas (depends who the sub for miniboo is)
3rd Pacific (t1 are the 2nd worst team at this event and bring them down A LOT, if they play DRG it just depends if Luke is playing good or bad)
4th China
in general it goes

1. Americas (they have the best 1-8 by far)
2. EMEA
3. Pacific
4. China

F0rsaken has played 15 games on initiator and 4 games off it in the past 30 days(which technically doesn't include like week 1 or smthn but anyway)
initiator was very weak role in pacific outside d4v41 and Muchkin, and f0rsaken's stats on harbor have been very bad compared to his initiator.
it made much more sense to put him as the #1 initiator in pacific, than the #3 flex, because he was definitely worse than Something and Invy
