First, I want to thank you all for sticking with us and following the journey of a random open 3 premier team. We plan to continue with premier and we hope you can continue to follow us, we are currently taking a break and planning some stuff on the discord server (message prancermane for an invite). It means alot to me that you guys care enough to post and interact with my newsletters. Sadly we did not win the premier playoffs, we made a good run making it to the semifinals.
For playoffs me and cloudberry were out due to personal reasons meaning the team player was: 🇨🇦 Askrial, 🇺🇸 Dignan (sideshowbaldhead), 🇺🇸 Kamui, 🇧🇩 Topphat, 🇨🇳 Wukong. Going into the map bans we knew that we had to prioritize haven and lotus as they are neon maps (kamui is the neon goat). We got haven for our first matchup and we felt confident against our opponents after winning an eco round 2 and bonusing round 3. With heroic plays from Topphat and Kamui we were able to win the map 13-10.
Next we played haven again, after winning our previous matchup we felt confident on haven, however the enemy team was able to win 11 round in the first half off some clutches and hero plays. With a timeout and a mental reset we won 5 round however the map came to a close at 13-6.
This ends Cloudberries' run in the first stage of premier, 6-6 in maps. Cloudberry is now active on discord and seems to be doing better so if you'd like to chat with him (and other cool members) join the discord! Again, I thank you greatly for following our journey, and stay tuned as we plan to compete next act!

IN OPEN 3, WE QUALIFIED TO PLAYOFFS!!!!
With being only 1 game away from playoffs we felt the pressure this week. We decided to just go with a simple comp and play simple combo ult strats so we don't have much room for mistakes. However, 1 of our main players, Prancer, could not make it online in time to play the first map so we had to sub in sideshowbaldhead.
For map 1 we didn't know what to expect as we haven't scrimmed abyss much especially with the current roster. The team felt confident after winning the pistol and securing 7 rounds on attack. However when the sides switched and after losing the bonus the pressure of losing the chance to qualify got to us, and we started to slip up giving unfavorable fights and poorly adapting. We ended up losing 8-13
With only 10 minutes to queue into a second match we quickly changed players, and queued hoping we get a match. We got out second game of the night, it all came down to this, if we lose this game we don't qualify to playoffs. We got attack side first, this is ideal for us since we have a double duelist comp, we started with a quick execute on A site to catch the defenders off. We closed out the pistol round and quickly got the bonus allowing us to snowball. With a dominant 11-1 half (kamui threw) we felt confident on the defense half to close out. We won the pistol and closed out the map 13-2. Qualifying us to premier playoffs.
A/N: This premier stage has been a Rollercoaster, we couldn't play 2 of the weeks and we had various players get comp banned, have to cancel last minute, and take breaks. But we managed to secure playoffs. I would like to thank all fo you for being so kind to us and for encouraging us on our journey. I'd also like to thank kalavyan, sideshowbaldhead, yukky, and c9 oxy for helping us through out these last few weeks.
p.s. We will probably stream our grand final (and other games) on discord tonight, send a dm to me (prancermane) or cloudberry (sylt.hjortron) if you'd like to watch it.
