Leaf should be number 2 and marved should be number 1

posted about 2 years ago

his longevity is actually mind boggling, 4th best in the world in 2017 and now 5 years later he is major mvp

posted about 2 years ago

thats cap, he has always been the most impactful player for faze, he just isnt normally at the top of the scoreboard as well. He takes solo mid on mirage t side every round. His impact is insane, he just normally doesnt put up stats

You mean Battigan right?

Some changes that i think would make a little more sense, giving KJ and cypher more util isnt gonna happen and would make them a bit too op imo. Increasing KJ's range and maybe make her turret do a little bit more damage instead would be better. With cypher, just make the cages reveal like they used to, i dont feel like the sound q is enough. Also maybe make his cam do like 10 dmg. Wouldn't hurt but in close 1v1s with low hp it could be a game changer. Astra makes sense, the problem with reyna is that like the 4 dismiss/overheal isnt that bad but it was awful for low elo but balanced in pro play. Maybe just making it 3 would be fine, and lower the cost of the flash by 50 creds. Phoenix should be able to full heal from 1-100 with his molly and it should do more damage, his wall should also do more damage and maybe making his flash pop faster would be good.

No because the BO1s ruin it but it would take way too long if everything was BO3

posted about 2 years ago

lmao i had 2 different people DQ in the same game and still lost 19 rr

Val is just new and so the casters arent very experienced. The real issue, val observers are absolute dogshit. Ik its a more fast paced game but come on, ever great play you either only see half of it or its a jumble of POVs which kinda ruins it

posted about 2 years ago

Lmao Sinatraa. Why tf would sen drop their best player too?

???

Ethan prolly was but tarik didnt switch to val rlly, he isnt on an actual team so its kinda hard to say that he was a t1 cs player who switched to val

posted about 2 years ago

nah, at the time he was pretty washed in cs. Mostly because he had to awp imo, but i dont think he was t1 when he switched

posted about 2 years ago

Leaf is 2nd only to yay and thats debatable imo

posted about 2 years ago

yes but buyouts were not necessary for any of the players which was the original topic

posted about 2 years ago

except they were a core team for years before they became the best in the world. Xyp, Device and Dupreeh were the 3 core players and didnt need buyouts, magisk was a relatively unknown free agent when they picked him up, and the same with gla1ve.

posted about 2 years ago

he good but he not this good bruh cmon now, could prove me wrong tho if he pops off in playoffs against the real t1 teams

Lmao

No one said Wardell was the problem tho? Bro is arguing with himself

posted about 2 years ago

but they could def win a BO1 or maybe steal the occasional BO3 against teams like C9 or the guard. I think they would be similar to an NRG or LG

posted about 2 years ago

I think the core of the team has potential, but just need to develop better chemistry and discipline. As you prolly saw, TSM lost like 15 thriftys because they ego peek and lack discipline. The thing is, they are good enough to win 2-3 gun rounds in a row forcing their opponents into a full save but lose because of overconfidence. I think with a real coach, like when they had chet, this could be fixed. One specific play comes to mind when gmd, who is normally pretty disciplined, swung a main on ascent against TSM academy on an eco, without flashing for some reason. He was playing breach, a flash there and he gets 2 kills but he didnt, died, and they got thriftied. Corey is a very good entry, no problems there. Up until the ghost game, Subroza was performing well individually and was calling very well too. Rossy isnt there to frag but is a good flex support and provides good util usage and can play any agent, sova, cypher, skye, kayo, sage. gMd is very talented mechanically and a good flex as well. There is a reason he was the last one to be cut from the GenG roster which was always a threat. I honestly think that if Wardell was still on the team, they def win this tournament and after getting more in game experience with each other could compete with low-mid tier 1 teams. Im not gonna be delusional and say they could be as good as C9

posted about 2 years ago

lmao it was the same in csgo too. In an interview a player said "They do it at home, like the only thing tenz does is play that map, its whatever and he isnt even number 1" when talking about some aim map

posted about 2 years ago

Yay at full confidence without nerves > Tenz at full confidence without nerves

They are already rebuilding tho. I think the current team could work in NA, but would def get smacked at an international level. Personally I hate the seven pickup. He has little to no impact on the game despite putting up good numbers. The first tournament they player with him, he went like 20-14 but like 9 of the kills he got were exits saving an op or eco frags. His oping skills are mid at best and his rifling is just ok. His util usage is also puzzling because he didnt have a trip in kitchen like 4 rounds in a row for some reason. But he is just god awful. Will, PureR, or even harmfull were better pickups imo.

posted about 2 years ago

woah lets calm down there. Top Tier 1 is like C9, Guard, XSET, Optic, V1. Ghost is good but not touching any of those 5

posted about 2 years ago

my b lmao. Cant believe they also could have gotten ethan and chose not to pick him up.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah TSM is fucking retarded lmao. Also more expensive for the org because they have to buyout other players, gmd was a restricted FA

RNG

The whole concept of an academy team is to pick up promising young players who could be upgrades to your current roster in the future. Look at MOUZ in csgo, their 2 best players came from their academy team.
