Saw your comment, don't know much about game dev, so was insightful, specifically the bundled render call part. My comment was more from the perspective of appbuilding and devops where we encounter size related problem statements daily.

It totally depends on how the engine maintaines it's file structure, the size of the binaries after building the game, the size of the textures and ofcourse optimisations done by the Riot devs as to which parts of the binaries aren't required. A lot of things contribute to it.

They couldn't retain their IGL in ascension qualification playoffs, inducted a new player who haven't played with venka in past. Players are off role with no chemistry or reps. What do you expect?

You CAN'T prepare for igl change, role change and inducting a technically new player on new role messing up chemistry built through the split in a critical playoff. Maybe if you are the best team ever with insane coaching stuff then it will work. All I am seeing is a disasterclass right now. No one is comfortable in the team, maybe the sentinel will be as it changes nothing for them, but no one else is.
