2022 they made every international though. Their performance was on par with 2025 slightly worse i'd say.

Reykjavik - Derke & BraveAF out. Eliminated by ZETA who made Top 3. (FNC were really bad though)
Wins Stage 2 - Dominated & Didn't lose a single game. With 2 new players. (Alfa & Enzo)
Copenhagen - Made Top 4, Both losses were to the 2 finalists.
Champs Turkey - Made Top 6, Losing to DRX who made Top 3.

I'm assuming P0PPIN was the IGL & Inspire was probably helping him with calling, P0PPIN probably didn't want to IGL anymore, so they got Rossy. Rossy & Inspire might've had different idea's/styles on how they wanted the team to play. Since Rossy had the resume and he was their best player, they probably just thought they'd rather him over Inspire (especially in the current meta where sentis werent that good & Rossy could just take over Inspires roles.) P0PPIN in his Eggster era rn. Teams have adjusted to their style and they just look ass.

bruh i swapped oxy out for jinggg then thought of this.

btw how does this week work? is it only for americas then once every regions in playoffs itll restart and you can make a team again or should i just focus on playoff players this week?

edit: i meant meh compared to v1c, xeppa's recon init looked really shit, they needed to get another person to takeover and jackk looks good for that, but v1c looked good on smokes already so notexxd's move to c9 looks meh not that he is meh..

posted 23 hours ago

Im just waiting to see how they'll play Xeppa tbh, Jackk looked really good in T2. Notexxd meh, would've kept v1c over him but we'll see.

they'd probably put 100T top 4 if they gave asuna a new contract. they just dedicated.

Surely if Americas is like China and they add Ascent for Bind in playoffs they have one of the better map pools? Saadhak was always cooking on Ascent. Idk why they don't play double duelist on Split as it probably would've helped them. Maybe role issues with Silentzz not being able to play recon init?

posted 1 day ago

it'd be primmie over meiy cause primmie is more suited to their style of play.

i swapped bang for saadhak...

Wasn't Kickoff the only games where it was Tejo meta, then initiator nerfs came in and it became Yoru meta for Stage1/Toronto/Stage2/Paris?

edit: ig it was also in stage 1.

posted 1 day ago

oops wrong post

posted 1 day ago

I mean he's always had a low agent pool no? I think with upcoming Neon nerfs, double initiator/smokes will come into play which might help him with his agent pool, but last year Yoru was good enough to be played for a whole year (e.g. Eggster) but Jett definitely aint good enough for that so something will have to start getting good with other agents.

I'd say you'd be at 10-20k rating in premier and you'd still see ur teammates look like its their first 100 hours playing the game on cs. I personally don't like the movement in cs cause it feels like skating on ice. Rn though valo ranked is horrendous for me cause i cant improve if i dont play everyday.

Idk if this is a bad comparison but i recently played hollow knight and it was so much faster and finicky to play compared to silksong. Felt like i couldnt do a simple parkour section without dying cause my guy was moving at the speed of light, mid air.

posted 1 day ago

Last 3 games he's only played Jett and they've won 2-0, 3 times. Will this end up a problem in the future if he's just a Jett one trick? + Jinggg & f0rsaken can play the other agents he should be playing, better. Davai on chamber too. He's genuinely gonna be Jett for the whole year. Somehow I see it working out though.

Alfa is literally just Less + Leaf combined lmao tf is this take.

So, basically its Pandora's box? But not at the same time because the issues that stem from it can actually be fixed.

posted 1 day ago

You have more posts on VLR in 4 months than Boaster has kills since 2023. Take a break.

posted 2 days ago

I mean you could put it down to the players knowing they are getting replaced and just trying to play their best in their final game to get a new team. but doubt my whole idea tbh. probably just happened after the game.

bruh ngl, if FUT won i reckon id be no.1 itw.

nah that MIBR game they looked like an entirely different team. but wouldnt be surprised if this wasnt already a thing decided and leakers just managed to get the info late.

posted 2 days ago

if they somehow lose to EG today, they could put it down to the new addition of keiko and v1c would kinda just replace keiko out right. even tho keiko's one of their best players + skuba doesnt look comfortable on astra. might just want to swap back to 2nd controller/senti.

(this is the most stupid hypothetical that i came up with that would only make sense to me even though its a shit reason.)

posted 2 days ago

obviously their bind is good, but could be something to do with ascent coming in and them not bothering prepping on bind? idk tho sounds like a reach.

BBL already secure, Vitality just need GX to lose. Pretty sure

posted 3 days ago

I said this 2 months ago after kickoff ended.

FNC are notoriously slow when adapting to new meta's. They'll adapt to it in stage 1 (hopefully) and will adopt the 2 duelist approach (surely) also im pretty sure Boaster tries to micro-manage everyone on the team (might not be now, i heard that some time ago) which can lead to them playing significantly slower, and would probably also explain why Boaster keeps getting shit KD. I'd actually like to see a "fast FNC" though. Could be revolutional. That + them adding in some fakes and playing slow, would make it practically impossible to predict what they're gonna do. (kinda like what PRX did in toronto, they added that kinda calm/slower play style in sometimes, then won the event)

But I'd also say in EMEA its not that good to play fast, you look at BBL or Vitality on Haven def for example, they'd just stack 3/4 people onto a site and play retake, hoping the other team plays fast and comes to that site and it ends up fucking them over cause most teams just play slow in EMEA. Which FNC obviously knew this against BBL and got a free site cause of it on pistol round.

Derke & Chronicle don't look bad, on Vitality. Derke looks really good some times and Chronicle looks just like he did on FNC & Gambit.

Mistic when he left, was already declining even while in FNC, thats why he got replaced. He had a decent stint with Apeks and joined Enzo & Keiko at TL and they performed pretty bad.

Enzo I kinda wish stayed on FNC, but obviously FNC had a chance to sign Chronicle & Leo so went with them. Enzo since switching to IGL has been pretty bad, so its pretty hard to gauge if FNC Enzo would be the same as current IGL Enzo. (i think hes still igling). Edit: Enzo on FNC wasnt the most mechanically gifted player. He was exactly like Crashies. That'd be the best comparison for FNC Enzo.

Sayonara wasnt even a FNC player lets be real. He was in for an off season and didn't play that good while on the team.

Magnum was really good after he left FNC? He was really good in T2, got to the GF in ascension with Apeks, joined KC and won Kickoff, stage 1 & 2 KC made both playoffs and got eliminated by teams who made the international (FUT & FNC), joined BBL and was doing really well there too, BBL then replaced the entire team for BBL PCIFIC, and now on EP they are dominating.

Doma is the same as Magnum, but just not had the opportunity yet. Like I said, hes doing really well currently. Same can be said after he left FNC he was doing good.

Crashies is just Crashies. He's playing like he did on NRG/OPTIC/ENVY. NRG 2024 wasnt that good of a team, but Crashies was one of their best players 100% and I was confused that they let him go tbh.

Look at BBL, before santiago they were like the "PRX of EMEA" cause they would play fast and it worked, helped them destroy teams to get to santiago. Nerfs came in and id say the current meta favours a slower pace of play than a faster one (In EMEA). BBL against FNC yesterday they were literally playing as slow as FNC on fracture and couldn't even do anything and got destroyed. Probably the reason why FNC are 5-0 with 2 games with subs, the OG turtle paced team.

posted 3 days ago

I mean... the guy is actually playing really good. He's being the GOAT IGL while also not being a burden stats wise.

posted 3 days ago

Boaster is definitely an attributing factor to players doing good. But not the only reason. Hiro the most noticeable one out of them. I personally think Veqaj/Desmo have been the only ones that proves that Boaster/FNC system works and helps "mid" players look good. The rest could be put to the players actual talent/good mechanics. (Before FNC, T1 wise Veqaj wasn't that good on flex, T2 he only played duelist and done insane.)

Alfajer, Hiro, Kamyk all players that were probably around top 1-10 players in their respective T2 regions before they got a chance on FNC. When Doma subbed for FNC during champs he was the same as the others, a top 10-15 player. CyvOph Top 5-10 player in T2 before joining Vitality and was playing insane for them in T1.

Sevire or Redgar.

(redgar cause avez's role + ENGH, sevire cause ex-kcbs player.)

posted 3 days ago

They not making changes to the best roster in the world 😂😂😂 try envy or eg

posted 4 days ago

Demon1 wouldnt of fit them atm. Penny was probably dropped because hes been meh so far, and he's causing a lot of role issues for C9.

Xeppa's recon inits are pretty bad & Demon1 doesnt fulfil what C9 need role wise.

posted 4 days ago

1 good map this stage. rest has been meh/stinkers. but i agree they should've waited until playoffs are done or something to make a change.

posted 4 days ago

2023 i think lol, bro was a sova main in 2021 tho iirc

posted 4 days ago

never played viper before was just wondering if theyd rather him on comfort pick or try him out on it

posted 4 days ago

is Boaster gonna let CyvOph play main smokes and play Viper for maps that require 2 controllers? Or is Alfajer just gonna play Viper and CyvOph on 2nd duelist/senti, Boaster on smokes.

posted 4 days ago

Feels like an Alfajer type of player tbh.

posted 4 days ago

Can play double init on Breeze, Pearl, Fracture. Whenever Ascent comes in for Bind then you can play double init on that too.

Edit: Xeppa's Raze will be decent enough for him to play it on Split/Bind. And Phoenix is probably the most simple agent to learn in the game for Haven. Idk for Lotus.

posted 4 days ago

knowing riot theyll do an insanely shitty timed update right before london and make teams have to change their comps.

posted 4 days ago

Neon nerf gonna probably turn the meta towards double initiator/controller so probably preparing for that and hoping they can make this roster work.

posted 4 days ago

Xeppa support init, 2nd duelist maybe. Zellsis senti/2nd controller. Jackk recon init. V1c main controller, Oxy main duelist/chamber

posted 4 days ago

Penny can only play Jett/Raze/Neon/Chamber comfortably. Oxy needs to play Neon when he can, Jett & Raze can only really be played on a few maps, same for Chamber & Xeppa on recon isnt that good so they had to get a good recon player. Role wise he was the issue, plus hes pretty inconsistent.

posted 4 days ago

Xeppa's just been the better player between them tbh. And Penny causes a lot of role issues for C9.
