s0m has done a pretty good job so far. Also regarding marved he became the best controller NA after joining optic and same goes for yay as well. So I beleive Fns and Chet can turn s0m into a great player.

Yay plays the role of jett/operator for the team. All the top NA/EMEA teams has that kind of player like Ardis,Cryo, Tenz , Derke, Cned etc and he is never gonna go to EG.
Liquid is the only team which do not have a top tier player in this role. So is it worth giving it a try?

yeah 100t made some mistakes and did not play well but EDG played extremely well. It was a close series overall and 100t made it through.

I am not a big fan of discrediting teams of their trophies. Maybe it was a Cinderella run and maybe Gambit was the deserving one but they played well and won when it matters the most. So I don't like to think it was a fluke.
