Mako is great but not the goat. The issue with finding a controller goat is because there have been no consistent controllers. For example, Tenz only smoked for one year. Pancada did not play for a year. Marved has not been good since 2022. And so on so forth. My personal goat would probably still have to be Pancada, but Mako´s consistency is what puts him in the goat convo.

Khalil has and always will be a solid anchor of consistency for the team. Havoc's potential and star-power is undeniable. We saw what heat did last year on KRU, and there is still more there to build on from him. Pryze has showed why he was picked up in a dire time of need following their veteran's (mwzera) unfortunate condition. This team just needs to put the pieces together and the upsets will start rolling in. And dont forget, with the reevaluation of partnered teams coming, this team is playing for their spot in t1. I feel optic is being dissed here. Idk if this is rancid but they should even be above sentinels. They definitely should be above drx their 2-0 against them and had similar longevity. If we count NRG as somewhat a continuation they are 3-0 against DRX. Then EG and EDG. Both have one major victory. While it was champs and should be valued higher than Optics masters win, optic/nv had such better longevity and finishes for years before that. (2nd against gambit, 1st against loud, 3rd against fpx, 2nd against loud.) The fact is EG was only good for a year. Their champs win and 2nd place do not outweight optics achievements. EDG only just surfaced for champs. While they were dominant, before that they presented ZERO longevity. They qualified for years because of the weakness of the chinese region and achieved little results. PRX is arguable. (2nd at copen, 3rd at tokyo, 2nd at champs, and 3rd at madrid.) In my opinion these results do not trump what optic have done and the more I look at them, the more optic deserves that 4 spot. Optic is 0-1 against them (0-2 if nrg is considered), it does not outweigh anything. Sentinels is hard to argue because of their 2 wins, but looking past that they have been abysmal at internationals. Optic takes the longevity and results categories. Furthermore, optic is 2-0 against them. (3-2 considering nrg). Loud is where I draw the line.
