Yes they moved late due to the orgs situation, they were in the middle of splitting up with Rogue and merging with MAD Lions, hopefully won’t happen again

That being said I really like the pick ups of Kamo and grubinho just not sold on Shadow. We’ll see, don’t expect much from them so can’t really disappoint can they xD

Smurfette is good, and scoobydoomix (GiantX actually) is a very solid looking roster. But imo the only actual superstar duelist in EMEA was Mary, all of the others are better or worse but duelist is not the strongest role for EMEA GC I feel like

They partnered with Rogue but things went south real fast, results weren't there and Rogue stop receiving money and stopped paying content creators for example. Matter of fact it was rumored that Ibai had to put a couple million from his pocket to avoid employees not getting paid.

Anyway, both sides had an internal war, which resulted in them splitting up again, but this process caught them at the end of the season start of the off season so they could not operate (Valorant roster had no resources to do anything because they didn't know who was supposed to pay what).

Right after they split, KOI in order to stay relevant and pretty much survived decided to take part into a merger that was already being planned. MAD lions was gonna merge with MRS, MAD desperately needed the Spanish fanbase MRS had, while it was a great opportunity for MRS to grow. KOI entered the conversations aswell and completed the 3 way merger. KOI has the biggest fanbase and VCT spot, MRS has an extremely old an well run sport structure and their CS roster, MAD Lions has the LEC slot and a lot of money. So it's extremely beneficial for all parts
