Im not saying they should spend all their time playing the game when in the coach position but have put in a good amount of time in the game prehire. Coaches have just been picked up straightaway from other games experience like Chet who transferred from cs with like 30 hrs val game time
Is it weird that I expect tier 1 coaches to be able to hit radiant or at the very least 300rr. I understand that ranked play and official vct matches would be different but if my coach couldnt play high elo ranked what right do they have to coach. Coaches can work around game theory all they want but they need to at least put time into the game at a high level.

Emea has perfected defaulting which makes them the most boring to watch but the most consistent in performance.
APAC and China loves to invent and innovate new executes/retakes with fast pace play making them the most entertaining to watch but the least consistent in event placings as they will have big wins but choke towards the latter end of playoffs.
NA has the superstars and clutch style gameplay. Whereas other teams would save they will play for rounds that should be lost. They also have the most personality making them the region who most fans are invested in.
With all that said just rig the matches so we dont get inter-regional matchups at international lans as its boring. C:
