We witnessed a perfect choke out of the Tejo merchant team, so you were right in a way?
Silver linings, silver linings
Anything else you wanna say?
Is this giga banger in the room with us right now
Mf's playing like an Op crutch instalock Jett except he's on Neon and he's him apparently
Incredible, you went 0-3
PRX 2-0 TH
Riens had 20 kills, 0.67 kd roughly
Something in fact was one of the weakest fraggers for PRX
That's...kinda impressively wrong tbh. Respect.
"Start that bus back up to the retirement home" is a crazy line out of the casters but damn YFP rolled Cube on Lotus.
It's literally the "he froze" meme every time they so much as get a whiff of the word "finals".
Guess Fnatic are nobodies considering how TH just got bodied.
He often just straight up hop peeks and starts spraying for his life.
Rn only thing they're beefing with is their PC's.
Yeah and so are Com and Demon1. We live in the present, not the past. Let's see what they do this event.
You ain't killing anything except your wallet dawg
Check yay and icy stats
Then check Xeppaa, Oxy and neT stats
Can't speak on the others but Kangkang probably belongs, he's a CN icon and they have a limbillion players on their side of the pond. China's huge, and so is their gamer population.
I think the dog dug it's way 6 feet under.
Back when they went into playoffs with like an 8-1 record in 2023, I'd say they looked even more impressive before bombing out of playoffs so hard you'd think it was a Pearl Harbor reenactment.
Call TVirus The Greatest Technician That's Ever Lived the way bro looked like he was fixing the last map.
Not a single CN player made the list, but purp0 did?
Holy shit, back in the time when double senti split was the shit. It really was longer ago than I remembered.
Zombs for the astra meta? I don't remember a thing from that far back-was he that good back then?
Might be the memories of his falloff speaking though, I only remember the disastrous season that led to him getting dropped.
I mean, Haodong is proof EDG isn't entirely willing to just air out even obvious problem players, so I'd say the ball is in S1mon's court to prove that EDG management and his team failed entirely to give him options/support.
Random add-on to this after some news today: Looks like Jieni came onto the roster after some internal friction. Namely, EDG manager Aqua has accused Simon of essentially bad work ethic and being unwilling to put in the effort to learn to shoot, and Aqua seemed to have the support of the rest of the EDG roster, who showed up to support his stream.
Simon allegedly fired back, claiming chichoo, smoggy, and nobody had displayed similarly shit work ethic. If he did say that, this would've essentially burned his bridges, even though for now he remains on the roster and is free to stream. Authenticity is up in the air at the moment, however. Take with a grain of salt.
On the other hand, it's claimed Jieni's working extremely hard to better himself as both a support player and a duelist, and also looked promising in scrims, thus why he in particular has come on.
So there's your official answer to "Why would EDG drop champs winner? Surely he can just practice to shoot better". We'll see how it shakes out, but so far I think Jieni looks promising, especially with all of the china groups and kickoff to train and grow.
How is it weird? Jieni7 literally just ended the series with FPX with the highest rating and second highest k/d next to Kangkang.
In this execute/dive heavy meta he's looking like a strong fit on EDG.
-19 isn't a great look for trying to humble your opp's top frag...
The G2 vs NRG tricast yesterday was absolute peak
Fresh and innovating, just like the PRX roster huh?
Insane how people just instantly underrates any fresh players and stop rating teams correctly the second the roster shifts, as if they have insider knowledge on both the team and player.
OPTC definitely wasn't a disappointment after the rebrand from ENVY, podiumed at essentially everything that year.
LLL literally just took a huge L to 2G, so they're out.
BLG lmao.
EDG had the kinda disappointing Tokyo run, even though they bounced back big time.
People like you are the reason The Orange is in office right now.
How did you even find 86 with those other 4 shows.
Harder is an understatement, they're going to need a generational EG-level comeback here.
What does it mean for TH to have dropped a map 5-13 to ass then.
If it's one of your first web novels just keep in mind the translation might get really funky at times assuming you can't read the native language. If you can stomach sometimes having to fill in/replace words to entire lines to make it flow better in your head, though, I def recommend the web novel.
Clearly the game is played on paper, PRX are winning it all
I think 6 is still a far cry from the abomination AG cooked up.
The amount of waylay in the mix suggests they definitely were overcooking here imo.
Never realized one of their coaches was named 1t, they cooked with that one
I'm saying as a defender trying to retake it, instead of attacker.
Bro has never played the old Pearl Harbor B retake
Jingg played Raze, Cypher, and Phoenix, and dropped relatively poor ratings on Cypher and Phoenix. There really wasn't much mastery over the two agents shown.
Doesn't excuse something entirely, he barely played his third agent, fade, and dropped piss poor ratings on her. But his breach was passable and his jett, as usual, was pretty okay, and the ratings from the last few games reflect that. Of the two, it's fairly clear who can flex between agents better.
