The players perspective isnt the issue
Thats what I've been saying from the beginning..
Teal Seam already plays every tier 2 tourney and participate in VCT. So by signing to an academy team they get the VCT removed even, so less options for the players
Still, getting money better then not getting it. So right now academy teams are just hoarding players and making it harder for other teams to pick up replacements and so making them more reluctant to let players go without asking big buy out
Whats the actual point of these academy teams? Promoting players is so rare. But good for them, get paid to play
MIBR coming for everyones throat
Its region based. Fnatic have Boaster, Mistic, Derke from same Northern Europe region. Same with Liquid. Acend is depending on where they put Ukraine, my guess is East Europe so Zeek, Kiles, Starxo.
Seems like most will be fine. Only G2, Vitality & Alliance don't have 3 players from 1 region. Especially G2 have 4 from 4 different regions, others have 2 from 1 so they just need to sign someone or move someone to the country
Good news for viewership that Ibai will be involved in Valorant
Thats 3 in a row
Shawn is easy top 5 Skye in NA, he is not the issue right now. Him and gMd are set. But Nature, Koosta, Rhyme have some overlap but none of them is a real jett, real sova or real sentinel which is kinda off-meta
And let us filter the player profile stats by team and not only by 30/60/90 days, because sometimes a team doesn't play in those periods
His agent pool is super meta right now? Skye, Reyna and Raze is ideal flex pool. They just don't have the big name Jett to be the second duelist for
I feel like Fnatic are a big and serious enough org to not look at a small sample size before making judgement. Doma's time will come he is still young
Probably because he was just lacking fire power in the last months when playing support roles
Pretty strange signing then, his vct sova stats don't look better then Koosta and he already was the bare minimum. Raze would be nice if we didnt have 3 good raze players already and she is viable on 3/7 maps only
Isn't he pretty good? But he doesn't really add any new roles. Like we still miss a good jett and sova. Maybe Rhyme can fill the sentinel roll now since Koosta doesn't want to play it (or just drop him already)
Rank up first, but also try and get some people together on twitter/discord and compete in smaller tourneys like VCS or something.
Great streamer
bro tried to sneak in Hiko like we didn't notice
And JonahP gone. MIBR is happening
People in the scene complain about the Tier 1,5 / 2 teams asking too much for players is ruining the transfers. But aren’t the academy teams a big, underrated problem as well?
Teams like TSM, T1, C9, Knights are signing decent Tier 2 teams/players like Poiz or the EZ5 roster, which makes it harder for normal 1,5/2 teams to get those players since they have contracts now vs being an amateur team. And so they are more reluctant to let players go, if you cant replace them properly
There is not even an academy league in place, so whats the point of hoarding these players? Especially for orgs like Knights, BBG whose first team isn’t even that good, what value does a second team add.
Easy pick up for any competitive team in EU
Hope he doesnt ruin his chances for the next org with all the sneak dissing
Still not a lot of info to judge on. If its on performance reasons thats kinda weird by andbox. But if they were uncomfortable because of private reasons it could be fair. Still sucks for the guy
But thats at a CSGO venue, feels a bit different than what KRU did here. This looks more similar to a WC soccer match with big screen and crowd cheering at home. I just cant imagine that in Dallas there would be 5-10k people going out to watch Envy or even Sentinels. Pretty insane that KRU can pull this off in the first year with no notable org in other sports
What other teams could have this much fans in a crowd? Cant imagine orgs like Envy or Acend could do this
Rossy to tsm, Genghsta to knights, ShotUp trialing for Faze and Emil just a trial. Only have JonahP left so they might be close to dropping their NA roster
Since I started watching pro val, like february
Defenitely not a improvement, but fits perfectly in what they need right now. Flexible smoke player, IGL and cheap
What would the Europe leagues look like? Scandinavia, UK, Fra-Benelux-Ger, Spain-Ita-Por, East EU. Hope they give more attention to the east EU countries, they produce more talent then Italy, Portugal, Netherlands even Germany
gMd is well loved, not underrated + read title
What kind of org is Akrew? I see they have some Animal Crossing streamers and 400 followers. How do they pay valorant salary
Little upset today, Acend win
Cant even imagine how much money they make with actually popular skins like prime, glitch pop is this set was already 15m
Cant believe Faze havent looked in to it. Fits their org perfectly and they don't have a roster. But Sinatra makes more money as a streamer anyway
Doubt a team like 100T wil get Sinatra for reputation reasons, they don't want to be controversial
Coach Chet stealing tier 3 strats because he only played against those teams
Hahaha
