I enjoy a lot of the analytic videos, like Airen and Teets. Well produced and educational stuff

Am I crazy for saying Leo was a better Fade than Shao? Maybe I'm forgetting a performance but I feel like Shao hasn't been as impactful on Fade compared to Leo

in my mind zekken is a child, so that sentence was bizarre to me

I think beneath the dust and muck of this horrific post, there's a perfectly fine take, which is that Demon1 is better than Derke. The reasoning is really bad though. I could say shit like, "Demon1 was insane enough to not be on the first team of one of the worst teams in Americas at the time" and it'd technically be true, but also meaningless. Selectively choosing team results as if they at all reflect on a player holistically is extremely dumb.

Such a satisfying aimer. Hope to see him more this year

Leo. He's extremely consistent. I wouldn't be surprised at all if an Alfajer or a Demon1 has a better year, but I also wouldn't be surprised if both have a dip in their performance as well. Leo's aim, which is I think one of the most variable traits among top players is less important to his game compared to someone like Demon1 or Alfa, so I think he's a safe bet.

Pancada played like, alright for Sen IIRC, but certainly not enough to justify a top 3 in the world placement. Especially since he never played an international tournament. Even if he played ridiculously well in Americas, I think it's unfair to crown someone amongst the best when they haven't played against the best. He also just got benched from his team lmfao. Crazy take

Saying Shao's ceiling is the best player in the world is like saying Tenz's ceiling is the best player in the world. Yeah technically, but that brother hasn't grazed that ceiling in like, over a year. Genuine question, IIRC, the best result these guys got last year was 3/4th at Lock-In. They otherwise never did better. What, over the off-season, made them leapfrog the teams that won tournaments, and did better than them? Ardiis? Really?
