I figured I would list some of the really interesting games that are currently leading up to Americas League Ascension for your interest (since all the regions are fun to watch)

So far, only one team (9z Team, Argentina) has qualified for Ascension through LATAM-South on circuit points after comfortably winning 3-1 against Furious Gaming. Congrats to them!

For LATAM-North, the lone slot is going to be challenged to the very end, with FUSION and Six Karma fighting in the split's playoff grand finals. They're neck and neck in points with 6K barely ahead, so whoever wins this match goes to Ascension. This match isn't until June 10th, but given the two teams's history with each other I expect it to be a banger. FUS vs 6K

For Brazil, it's still technically anyone's game, with the current favorites being The Union. For UNI to qualify though, they need to win both of their upcoming series and make the grand final to guarantee their spot. The same story applies to Keyd Stars. ODDIK, TBK, and 00 Nation aren't very far behind on circuit points. however, so they'll be fighting to upset and steal a spot. The path for them is difficult, but by no means unreachable.

For NA, everyone knows that the obvious contenders for now are M80, MxM, and The Guard. Based on their forms last split, the games to watch today are TGRD vs FAZE and M80 vs SR. Faze looks to get revenge on The Guard after being stomped 2-0 during the split, and Shopify hopes to beat M80 once again after giving them their lone defeat in the last split.

Everyone's complaining about China getting 2 spots for Masters and 3 for Champs, but my question is why doesn't Riot increase the number of teams per tournament? Why 12 teams for Masters and not 16? With more slots (say one more per region, and the last one can be given to a team based on a certain metric idk) then I don't think people would be complaining nearly as much about China "stealing" slots.

I know that it's Riot's intention to increase tourney sizes as franchising grows, but I feel like even now a 16-team Masters and a 20/22-team Champs would see a lot more competition, viewership, and obviously money

My one nitpick is the theme and upfrag colors -- I like having a dark theme, but since upfrags are matched with the theme, my dark theme makes upfrags almost impossible to see on my screen. If it's possible and you'd like to consider more color options in a future update (ie separating upfrag and theme colors, text color, forum background color, etc etc), I think that'd be awesome.

Also, there seems to be a bug where I can't turn off camo mode. I don't mind it at all, but I figured you'd like to know.

i used to live in saudi arabia and would play CSGO on the oman servers (i don't think a bahrain one existed when i was there). unironically everyone was super chill. no racism and very little toxicity, and even though there was a language barrier (i don't know Arabic) we would still try to communicate. glad to see they're still pretty chill for Val and happy that there's a Bahrain server!

practice practice practice! also, there are websites that have entire lists of commonly-asked interview questions based on profession. as long as you have SOMETHING to work with for those common questions you should be more than fine.

also, even if they ask a question you may not have expected, you can redirect the conversation to something you are familiar with. this is a little trick i use pretty often and it usually works!
