The way i read it it could be that the team they play for is responsible for the weeks pay not the team they are benched on. It would benefit both teams and players. The team who gets the player gets a weapon they can use, the player gets both paid and gets to play, and the team who has the player on the bench gets to not pay that player for the week which saves them money.

I think its just the articles phrasing that makes it confusing as they say "The vct team" instead of "the vct team they play for". Also something to note I bet the players have a lot of control on who they want to play for. They definitely dont just have to agree to play for a teir 2 team just because their org doesnt want to pay them. As for the below league minimum part I think it allows for the teir 2 teams to actually have a chance at getting these players (such as a high profile demon like Pancada) without breaking the bank. In the end of the day its a contract that neither party is being forced into, it just allows the option for that contract to be made. I think its a uncommon Rito W.

Its just a clickbait title. Realistically its a team game so the only reason he seems so dominant is that he has a team that can set him up and allow him to make the plays he does. Its similar mentality to thinking yay fell off hard and isn't good anymore because he couldn't make it on DSG. I do hope EDG as a team can make it through groups as they are really fun to watch.

My question is why we would even care about a NAVI resurgence. A much better story would be a EDG or BBG sweep or lower bracket comeback. I want entertainment and i haven't been entertained by NAVI in a while. I don't think they will even have a shot to make it out of groups against Liquid, DRX and Loud.

I think its got to be a no as in it wont happen, seeing as he is a PRX fan. That being said i cant see PRX getting beaten by EDG or GIants

Yeah i think people undervalue great decision making ability in IGLs. They have themselves and their entire team to think about at the same time and normally don't play duelists as a result. Also they are all pros so they all are insane.
