EDG T1(2 is too hard to choose 🥀🥀)
I will try and root for G2 bc of my last post
I’m 99% sure he’s retiring after this year so just let him play this year out tbh
They’re not even listed as inactive, it said they left
I’ve been following this team since the guard. I was a huge Trent fan because the shit he would do with sova was nits. I also remember being really jealous of how good his hair was. I loved that team, and I even won a signed poster of sayaplayer. Then they didn’t make franchising and I kinda stopped watching them, but I’d still watch them here and there. Then the won ascension and the org dropped the roster and I kinda just stopped following them because I had other teams I was a fan of more(c9, nrg, 100t, kru). In 2024 I knew they were good, but they just weren’t that fun to watch anymore. I also wasn’t a crazy fan of jawg(just never really fell in love with that 2023 eg roster. He was undeniably the goat though) and they also picked up leaf who was my goat on c9. It really was just bc I liked more teams that I didn’t watch them as much. Then in 2025 they did a lot of the same and the reasons for not watching/supporting them was the same.
Even this year I haven’t become a crazy fan, but honestly I’m going to start watching them more because they genuinely are the goats of valorant. They have the best story of any team, and they are just such a dominate force that you can’t ignore how strong they are.
To me they’re like PRX, so close to winning trophies but havent gotten it yet.
It’s funny though because their play style is the exact opposite of PRX
Sorry for the yap, I hope someone reads this and appreciates it
and bring back light shields bc that's the entire point of the outlaw
why are we downvoting the truth
Did people say kk was or no?
Imo kk is still the best oper oat
it also just brings viewership to teams we wouldn't watch otherwise. im not gonna watch like a regular zeta game, but they're playing against like drx or something so im more likely to watch it
yeah i don't disagree with this, but to me i just remember 2022 having such good moments. as someone else said, franchising lets pacific teams become more intergrated
yeah but like the rosters were so goated back then and you had random shit happening
i somehow forgot to mention peak optic and loud, ig because it's so obvious
chamber genuinely was so entertaining to watch
2023 being nostalgic is crazy
nah in all seriousness, fairplay. 2023 was a good year but you just had to be there for prefranchising era
ngl at the time i thought snus was like drugs or some shit so i was like wtf, but its only nicotine. obv shouldn't have showed on camera, but it was kind of a bad decision on vals side
i've been a 100t fan since 100t hiko n em bro
i'm conflicted with what to think. i liked seeing random teams win sometimes, but they wouldn't do anything normally and it was just a flash in the pan here and there, and I like seeing my teams play constantly. furthermore, having franchising means that production is much better
yes 2022 was goated, but franchising was necessary to advance and grow imo
imo 2022 had so many good memories and good rosters
you had 100t will derrek bang asuna stellar, you had optic, you had PKS Skuba, XXif, Ban, you had Version1(my goats), you had the emergence of EDG, you had The Guard, Rise went on that run and Shanks actually did something, you had random teams like Akrew beating Sen and everyone going ballistic, you had LG mada, you had kanpeki joining sen because tenz vouched for him, you had faze dicey and babybay
what else did i miss
edit: i forgot about ghost gaming
i genuinely couldn't even imagine what was going on in the comms/what the vibes were like by the fourth ace. they got aced on the pistol and then the eco, and then they lose their buy round in like a 3v2, and then they get aced again
bro i genuinely tried to look ts up like 5 different times
does dsg vs mad lions take first place? i went through a VERY random rabbit hole and ended up seeing that on bind there were 4 aces in the first half of the map
https://www.vlr.gg/206809/mad-lions-vs-disguised-challengers-league-north-america-elim
honestly the DSG drama was not talked about enough. that shit was fucking nuts
Honestly I really respect him for rebranding. So many people have forgotten about how toxic he was before. I haven’t seen him being in drama in the past couple of years so maybe he’s gotten better?
Def not bro. Yay had an eye condition, there was crazy beef between crazyguy and sscary(I think?), he was in a completely different region, and the team wasn’t even getting paid
crazy how bang kinda got shadowed on sen but now it's zekken getting shadowed on mibr. they're both great players yet they didn't/arent performing that well
ngl isn't it crazy that the leading fragger on nrg only has 14 kills? they all are getting kills and it's so sick seeing how good every player on nrg is
can cortezia speak english? or is it like sen pancada
what if they nerfed the tejo molly so that it's like a sova shock dart where the more youre in the middle the more damage you take and the farther away from the center you are, the less damage you take
how much would this impact tejo? because i feel like it's kind of oppressive but idk
geng for some reason HATES increasing contracts afaik
barrel to varrel might be goated
yeah but idk if i'd put them as winning aa masters yet. i feel like they'll do better later on in the year
anyone know whjere i can find the vod for the game? daily valorant didnt upload and the vlr page isn't going to the game
glitchpop is actually good esp with the red vct buddy
nope because no one has been talking about them, so i just assumed they were bad
yeah because of the shitshow that was 2024, i stopped believing in them entirely
s1mon is NOT the answer and stew has not done shit since rare atom ascension like 3 years ago
wait i completely missed the fact they signed cb. i thought he was just a standin. is he replacing jieni7?
hello i didnt know they played so many matches? ik they didnt have full roster but were there any good clips that i should go back and watch?
i thought his flashes had been pretty good. yea there have been bad flashes but they've also played a good role
that's not a demoralizing ending but bro id be annoyed if i lose in a 2v1 spray transfer
