I think they just needed to play it out with Oderus for lower round 1, Batu not having time in the boot camp almost for sure dropped him from a .9 k/d potential on initiator to 11-36 on initiator in the game. It's not a good look for him unfortunately, but it's not his fault at all.

Idk I think Molsi was the big problem on the frags, Avova was playing pretty ok, definitely better smokes players out there but I'm more disappointed with hype and Oderus on map 1, especially considering they both went off map 2

Well, Pr0nets was a favorite for ascension in split 2, it was a freak incident that they weren't. They're way better than most teams in this league, not to mention their group. Not exactly a fair reference to go off this and not also mentioning Liquid beating the team that knocked them out of split 2.
