Why are yall flaming Something for taking a picture with Demon1? Kinda embarassing tbh

Scrims are the best place to filter out which work better for them and are likely to have a higher success rate, so I believe it is very normal to throw many rounds identifying and filtering out those than don't work / improving the execution of those that will work for them to take into the actual game. You can afford to test them in scrims, but not in a real match.

Why do people take scrim results so seriously? Isn't scrimming the best time to test new strats and comps that may or may not work.

If they want SG representation,

Juicy from BLEED
Grumble (not sure if SG or not but Ilya and Jinggg praised him in rank once) - https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/grumble%231111/overview

If not SG representation
Zeta Dep
DRX Foxy9

Not a fan of Ray4c. He may be a judge god but his rifle is pretty mid and his level of undiscipline can only work in T2 esports.

If PRX doesn't mind not have Sg representation, why not Dep from Zeta? He's been carrying his washed roster for quite a while now, and still maintained 300+ ACS against NRG and 200+ against FNC. Only issue I see is a potential language barrier unless he brushes up his English

I think Illya did mention that he isn't good with Raze kit and her movements, so either F0rsaken has to play Raze or find someone else.

Did he specifically say he'd stop competing after National service because of university? I did remember him mentioning about uni in one of his streams but everyone here seems to imply that this is the end of his competitive career. I'd respect his decision regardless but I hope people are not just making assumptions here lol

posted about a year ago

Well, there's part time degrees but I guess its probably not what he's after. Wishing him best of luck for the remainder of Champions and his future.

posted about a year ago

He can’t defer his military service but I don’t see why he can’t compete while doing his university studies… 23/24 is still an average age in pro play.

So why would you save strats only to end up using more strats since you play more matches in lowers

posted about a year ago
  • Team comms
  • Better trades
  • Less throws
  • Capitalizing on opponent's mistakes
  • Strong mental - Decision and risks in game is more than just losing RR in pro play
  • Good understanding of opponent teams for anti-strat

Yours Sincerely,

Bind Ascent Haven

Split and Lotus is a coinflip tbh, not sure if PRX has had their confidence swayed from the 2-13 L to LOUD on Split

posted about a year ago

TL isn't washed, they narrowly lost 11-13, 15-17 to NAVI
Navi also barely lost 13-11, 11-13, 11-13 to LOUD who are back in form

LOUD fought hard to make it out of Group D and almost won against PRX.

I'm not one of those who says EMEA is 0 team region so you can't tell me FNC isn't washed now.

posted about a year ago

But wasn't that PRX with a streamer sub + washed NRG... IMO they only had EG as a potential opponent

posted about a year ago

Since both teams permaban Haven, they'd likely leave it as decider if either team prepped or the last ban would be Haven.

1st Bans Regardless of who goes first
EG - Pearl (PRX best map)
PRX - Fracture (EG best map)

Picks
EG - Ascent
PRX - Bind

2nd Bans would depend on who bans last and whether either team has prep for Haven
EG - Lotus
PRX - Haven unless PRX has prepped Haven

PRX - Split
EG - Haven unless EG has prepped Haven

Decider
Lotus / Split / Haven

EG had an ez group stage and only won against washed DRX and EDG . Similar playstyle to PRX but probably won’t be able to keep up, PRX 2 1 EG

Let’s see if Something really wouldnt have mattered during Tokyo

posted about a year ago

THIS. But the betting odds are still skewed in favour of FNC thanks to delusional fans so make some money while you guys can.

posted about a year ago

Wtf why are the odds against LOUD? EZ windfall if you put your lifesavings on them.

posted about a year ago
  • PRX 0% comp pick
  • Demon1 and Something both ace at least once during the game
  • Boostio thrash talks during the opening
posted about a year ago

Never liked NAVI fans but I felt like they deserved playoffs more than BLG and FUT

posted about a year ago

They're unstoppable in Tokyo, but their run in Champions is still unconvincing considering they only won against ZETA BLG and FUT. Beat DRX and LOUD/EDG and Ill have them in the GF with EG/PRX.

posted about a year ago

No it means they're washed now and will need to prove themselves again

posted about a year ago

Something is better with the OP and shorty plays, F0rsaken is better with knives. But since F0rsaken has a wide agent pool it makes sense to have him fill other roles while providing additional firepower

posted about a year ago

FNC 2 1 DRX
LOUD 1 2 EDG

posted about a year ago

I have to disagree with this. FNC had easy groups Zeta and BLG, and they've only won FUT and lost their only real match against LOUD.

posted about a year ago

Its the same with Sentinels. The players are likable but fans overhype them too much to the point where brain dead vlr users start shitting on the team

posted about a year ago

FNC haven't won a real match since Tokyo so your ranking is kinda outdated lil bro. ZETA, BLG, FUT followed by a beating from LOUD 😭

posted about a year ago

Fnatic counters PRX with CGRS since they had to switch to a single duelist comp, but we can't say for sure against their full roster. Still, FNC, LOUD, EG and PRX are definitely contenders for the trophy.

posted about a year ago

Typical behavior of these haters. APAC and CN will always be underrated until we earn a trophy. This run is the best chance we have now.

posted about a year ago

Where are the bots saying this during Masters Tokyo

posted about a year ago

I think LOUD was the more dominant team, but PRX were more mentally resilient. GG and hope to see both teams in GF

posted about a year ago

It is a fact… but it is funny how people say he was being carried against EDG when he underperformed and now they’re talking like he single handedly carried his whole team. Recency bias much

It's called a team game for a reason. You show up on some days, and underperform on others. That's why Jinggg and Forsaken is still there to carry him in such times.
