TOOK SEN LONG ENOUGH

posted 4 months ago

Obviously no meta's been set yet, but flashes seem to be extremely more powerful on console than pc because its much harder to dodge them

posted 4 months ago

it's because how big the EG hype train was. Everyone thought Demon1 was the best player of all time so ofc they were going to pick them

The highest level is getrex, which in his last video 3 months ago was 1537

posted 4 months ago

abyss this match would go hard

posted 4 months ago

RIP 🫡
Hope he can find a new team soon

posted 4 months ago

mada plays duelist so either they would have to play double duelist on some maps or make demon1 perma smokes

posted 4 months ago

Even though the comp is triple senti, it has been better for them on attack because of the postplant ( 57% wr on atk vs 54% wr on defense). However not anymore obviously 💀 but TSM did make the right decision based on the info they had at the time

There’s seeding and/or champs points (depending which split) for winning a regional. This only has prize pool

posted 4 months ago

There’s no seeding in ascension

posted 4 months ago

This match means nothing besides money from prize pool. Both are going to have to compete in ascension against Latam and Brazil teams

posted 4 months ago

Is hooj going to be streaming it or is it mods?

posted 4 months ago

Oh sorry! I missed that mb

S - Aspas (duelist)
A - TenZ (controller)
B - Trent (init)
C - mta (flex)
D - Kai (senti)

Clove until they get nerfed (if u can play smokes well ofc)

posted 4 months ago

Does this match matter besides money & bragging rights? It doesn’t look like there’s any seeding benefits

He was incredibly good in Reykjavik, best individual performance ever stats wise and didn’t drop a single map

Also first person to hit radiant (called valorant at the time)
After that tho not much else, there were other players in 2021 who are considered better and people were even calling to drop him entirely from sen

posted 4 months ago
  1. If sen don’t get grouped, they make top 3 with highly different comps (less deadlock + maybe zekken neon). If they do get grouped they get grouped 4th
  2. China proves themselves as highly underrated
  3. DRX gets grouped
  4. GenG don’t make finals

For americas:
OXG are the favorites, it was a tie between DZ and OXG but DZ is playing with a sub so they don't look as good. MXS and M80 and close runner ups and might make some upsets. Player wise, there is so much talent but here's my list of some:

  • M80 Zander (smokes + IGL, definitely needs to be picked up)
M80 neT (senti, used to play for G2 but got dropped for Icy)
OXG Verno (Initiator, likely going to be the most sought out T2 NA player)
    MXS mada (duelist)
    OXG mitch
    DZ stellar

is 0.12$ USD cashapp good?

posted 4 months ago

Some players that got into T1 are: johnqt, eeiu, valyn, trent, jonahp, tex, supamen, oxy, NaturE, N4RRATE, Rossy, Govenor, moose, vanity. (I will admit some of these players didn't perform the best but they still were contenders in T1).
I'm not saying that NA or turkey is better, and I will admit that Turkey has been outstanding, but NA has produced so much talent in T2 and you can't deny that so many of the current T2 NA players are outstanding and are going to get picked up for T1.

I'm just saying both regions have made talent and that it is really close

posted 4 months ago

EG, the newer teams will be better at least 95% of the time because the game grows, people get better, and the understanding of the game changes

posted 4 months ago

6/8, honestly pretty solid I wouldn’t have even known

posted 4 months ago

oh yea u right mb I should've done nCr instead of nPr, I forgot order doesn't matter 💀

posted 4 months ago

I personally disagree. Apsas and Icy fulfill very different niches even thought they both play duelist. Icy is much more fit for valyn's slow default style and he is great for entering and taking space. Aspas fulfills the 2023 demon1 type role with a higher emphasis on dropping +20 than being the entry role.

its reddit karma basically

posted 4 months ago

assuming every region & team is equal, its a 1/16P4 % chance which is 1/43680 or a 0.002289377289% chance
Edit: The number provided above is for 1 specific region to all be in top 4. For any region would be 0.002289377289% * 4 or 0.009157509156%

Edit 2: nvm imstupid

I think SEN is going to be very hit or miss based on a few factors

  • Deadlock: It looked like a lot of SEN's updated strats/comps were based on the deadlock, which clearly isn't working. If SEN was able to swap off of the deadlock in time I think they are looking pretty solid
  • Hiding strats: Soon we are going to see if the deadlock pick was just a way to coast out of americas while hiding true strats. We're gonna see soon if SEN actually was hiding strats the whole time and wanted to come 4th or if they just were bad.
  • Sacy: There was a lot of belief that SEN's mental was down with Sacy especially with the loss of his dog (RIP, you will be missed), so it depends how the mental is now
posted 4 months ago

It depends if you're talking of all time and how you measure the value of IGL. Valyn's yet to prove himself with titles and trophies and boaster has had much more success in the long run so in the conversation of all time he is definitely on top. However, Valyn also provides additional value to G2 with his fragging which makes him more valuable as a player, while boaster provides his value soley through IGling (I know boaster did frag well his last game but that's much more recency bias if you look at his season)

posted 4 months ago

Honestly I think icy fits them so well. Obviously there are much better duelists out there who can drop +20 every map but icy just fits valyn's calling so well. He's great at creating space but how he follows valyn's speed is so great for G2

Just remember to communicate with your partner about you worries and boundaries to make sure you both feel comfortable and safe

posted 4 months ago

I don't think it's fair to compare the 2 players, they're both fulfilling completely different niches: icy is much more entry and create space and aspas is much more get kills and drop +20, similar to 2023 demon1

posted 4 months ago

that roster sounds goated but way too expensive

posted 4 months ago

they've historically have performed the worst and have had the game for less time
