Roster stability in Valorant haha

posted about 2 years ago

Think Faze is the team to beat atm tbh
I wanted to see what viewership Imperial vs Navi would get if they played each other. Gaules was getting over 570k for all the imperial matches.

posted about 2 years ago

Definitely an unpopular opinion. Dude can’t be considered a goat if he’s never even played internationally yet.

posted about 2 years ago

Dude what has tenz done since Iceland of last year?

posted about 2 years ago

He had like 418k at the peak.
I have a feeling Furia will do well so Furia vs Navi could be insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Will probably never happen tbh. Unless the site randomly gets 2x the active users.

Agree with you big man. I think the diehard Valorant fanboys have an obsession with csgo being dead or dying and then diehard csgo fanboys will never accept Valorant as a competitor to cs. I think a lot of it has to do with how Valorant was advertised as the next cs killer. And cs fans are annoyed because people been calling the game dead since 2017. Unfortunately I don’t think the two games will never go without being compared to one another.

posted about 2 years ago

Don’t hate the guy. I just think he has a weird fanbase and is a pretty one dimensional player. I think people set their expectations way too high for him and get disappointed when he constantly falls flat. Had the same problem in CS.

posted about 2 years ago

The fanbase treats and compares him like he is the next s1mple.

To be fair, EU overall is still the best region in Valorant though and is still the most competitive.
BIG is a top 10 team in EU right? Probably t1 1.5 at the least.

posted about 2 years ago

I think every team in NA is overhyped besides Optic. The Guard are better then 100T though.

Lot of angry Valorant fans

posted about 2 years ago

Tell me you don’t know anything without telling me.

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. Pros hardly stream cs as where in Valorant a lot of pros stream all the time and some of them even full time. Then you add that Valorant is a trendy game which causes more streamers to play it. I hardly watch anything on twitch nowadays anyway. Mainly semi finals or finals of events.

posted about 2 years ago

The Koreans love their league. Big reason why.

posted about 2 years ago

Hi Phamous,
I think casually playing cs is more fun than casually playing Valorant. I can play cs without playing the actual game which is mainly what I do. The comments on this thread is pretty cringe though lol. I can see the major hitting 2 mil but yeah not 3.

posted about 2 years ago

Gives the site some life though haha

posted about 2 years ago

The replies show that there are some Valorant fanboys that are insecure though.
Never understood why people been comparing the viewership for the two games.

posted about 2 years ago

Well you said “some of these places”
Doesn’t really specify if you’re talking about the city or university.

Yekindar is what Jett pug stars thrive to be

posted about 2 years ago

University was founded in 1965 my guy

posted about 2 years ago

Why would you goto a university for their gaming facilities though? Assuming you would stay on campus why don’t you just bring your setup to your dorm.

Unless it’s ass or something.

we'll see if TOs get into it. better for the game if they do but never know with Riot.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it depends but never know with riot. I don’t think franchising is the best option. Never a big fan of putting org over the players. Maybe if they add a players union like what CS has or professional sports but who knows.

posted about 2 years ago

You’re not wrong about fans not caring about t2 or lower. I mean I sure don’t. But with that being said, if you are a t2/t3 player this is something you wouldn’t want. Riot is putting the orgs over the players. Never a good sign.

posted about 2 years ago

Typo. Fixed thank you 😎

posted about 2 years ago

Most certainly. Orgs won’t invest in the scene and new orgs enter big or small because of the uncertainty. Only if a big org buys a team already like let’s say If iBuyPower wanted to buy NRG or something. Certain regions will be easier than others. EU will be the hardest region to compete in just because of how competitive it is and amount of good teams. But yeah pretty much every tier besides t1 will get cucked.

posted about 2 years ago

Realistically it’s only good if you’re tier 1. Tier 2 and below will get cucked.

posted about 2 years ago

It’s good if you’re t1 but everyone else will get left behind and dumbed in a basket.

posted about 2 years ago

What’s your opinions on it

posted about 2 years ago

Think the main reasons why TOs hardly got involved in Valorant is because the way Riot was running it made it that there was almost no money to be made or profit from the event. Maybe it will change now but who knows.

posted about 2 years ago

Nothing lol. Your hope is to make it to t1 but there is a massive skill differential between t1 and t2 at least here in NA.

posted about 2 years ago

AU always getting cucked my friend

posted about 2 years ago

Only problem I see still is the main reason why big TOs hardly do Valorant tournaments is because there’s no money to be made because of the way Riot runs it. Maybe it will change but idk.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes and No. I get it’s to show how deep your map pool is but these games just take too long to play. Sometimes all it has to be is the right team getting hot at the right time.

posted about 2 years ago

They are the best NA team and have been since last year but they never get the attention so who knows.

I’m just wondering why this shit is a BO5. Takes over 3 hours to play a BO3.

posted about 2 years ago

Why is this shit a BO5 though lol
Grand and Lower final BO5s?

posted about 2 years ago

Should have dropped that MDL thrower Tex
But cool to see Ethan back with NRG like the CS days.

posted about 2 years ago

finally made the roster all ex cs pros

posted about 2 years ago

Still no coach lol

posted about 2 years ago

every game is dead if its not raid shadow legends

posted about 2 years ago

Good post
Valorant needs stuff like this. ACS isn’t the greatest representation imo and not the easiest to understand if you just glance at it.

posted about 2 years ago

It’s Valorant. Look at the community. Thats all you need to see.

posted about 2 years ago

No experience and never played against any international teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Optic/NV been the only team that has been able to do anything in international events. Sentinels won Iceland and have done nothing since.

Another notable exception is c9.

posted about 2 years ago

I respect you are a 100T fan but this org is just a mess when it comes to management. I would understand why Ethan would want to leave. If the players wanted steel dropped, fine but look at their results. Couldn’t even make champions. And idc what people say about chemistry. You don’t drop your roster after playing 2 officials together. The Astralis roster wasn’t that successful when they were TSM. Low and behold that same team became the best CS roster of all time. I just think 2 officials is way too short to judge.

Like I said though, this roster on paper may seem good but lack experience besides Asuna. Derek and stellar are older but wouldn’t call them experienced. Stellar also a mdl thrower lol.

posted about 2 years ago

Trent is not the best aimer in the world though

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think t1 na val is getting heavy stacked but the scene is definitely oversaturated. Too many players and not enough teams for top players. The top 3 NA teams are pretty good but the rest is pretty mixed.

posted about 2 years ago

It’s just more frustrating how long these games take to play
