To be fair, the teams you mentioned could be in VCT. They just aren’t good enough to qualify for the event.

Just the sad reality of the scuffed NA mindset.

I am honestly against g2 signing him. Don’t want to sound like a hater but I feel bad for those who are grinding premier and advanced just to get skipped over or not given an opportunity even though they have twice the level of experience compared to him. They just don’t have the Navi brand in their name.

It depends on when the Valorant bubble in NA bursts. It’s good right now but nothing lasts forever. When it does burst I feel like that is when players will start to switch back. It would be nice to see newcomers instead of players who are signed just off their status in CS and just cycling between NA Valorant rosters. The exact situation NA cs had.

M0nsey skipped the tier 2 level of cs and went straight to t1. I wonder how good he will do lol.

posted about 3 years ago

That is a point but even before they weren’t playing officials they were still on this full time schedule. I’m just saying it’s hard to manage both. You can’t full time stream and also be a pro and expect to succeed. TSM hasn’t done Anything since the game came out.

posted about 3 years ago

I don’t know the exact number, but players on the Sentinels and TSM rosters like Shazham, Subroza, Wardell all pretty much stream full time. Just if you compare it to the other regions especially the regions doing well at champions. The amount of time NA puts into streaming vs them is a lot to a little and the results are showing.

If you want to compete at the highest level, being pro should be your first priority, not streaming. It isn’t a bad thing if you would rather be a streamer but you can’t do both.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah it seems like NA VAL has created a circle for itself just like NA CS where it’s the same players just cycling between rosters and no one new gets a chance or opportunity. I feel like in NA VAL it could be worse because there is no league system. As I’m sure you know, pro play/league play is a lot different from just playing pugs or ranked. So just signing some pug star on ranked can be a high risk low reward situation.

posted about 3 years ago

The problem with NA VAL is egos (especially within their own scene) and streaming. It seems to me that pros care more about streaming and their reputations more than winning. You can’t full time stream and be a pro. Really hard to balance both. I get there is a player break coming up but these things been happening since the start. The same problems happening with NA CS happening in NA VAL.

That dead game has twice the player count and viewership especially when it comes to tournaments lol.

posted about 3 years ago

Sounds like a riot games move tbh

posted about 3 years ago

Probably more than 25% of the fanbase considering how bad viewership does when sentinels don’t play vs when they do.

posted about 3 years ago

So hostile. What extra credit did Gambit get? If any team was going to be the last team shown it should have been Gambit. Not Sentinels. Just an overrated overhyped team that hasn’t done anything since Iceland.

posted about 3 years ago

I just find it funny in the Riot introduction video that Sentinels was the last team to be shown that was looking at the planet like they were the favourites to win the event or Riot just has a bias towards NA.

Isn’t it only if you win?

I was told he wanted to switch back to Overwatch. Maybe he is more passionate about the game who knows. I know Overwatch is still pretty big in Asia region so. Whatever makes him happy.

Your problem is listening to shroud in the first place.

That guy has the most 1head takes.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I remember the major finals I was watching Tarik and his reaction to the niko whiff. Man that was hard to watch. G2 win that map and map 3 is anyones game. Both were good at mirage (inferno still the best decider map tho)

posted about 3 years ago

Dephh been in NA since cs lol

posted about 3 years ago

Honestly don’t know how well the viewership would do without co streaming considering the casters suck. People say they watch them because of the casters. I get watching tarik or something but those who watch kyeade and shroud are just watching two bricks just sit there and say something every 2 minutes.

I use 800 0.3 but it’s all preference.

posted about 3 years ago

Oh yes washed female cs player. Destined to win Champions.

posted about 3 years ago

seems I've triggered a wild herd of sentinels fans

posted about 3 years ago

The number of maps do matter, the words map pool exist for a reason. I'm not coping. I'm from NA, I'm just not afraid of the truth.

posted about 3 years ago

That and Covid. Covid cucked the scene more than anything tbh. Took away all LANs and moved everything to Europe. No way the smaller teams will be able to compete in anything.

posted about 3 years ago

Haha EU has no World Series or Stanley Cups either bums!!

Console region on top baby

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah +1
Sports have and always will be the dominant factors in NA. People love their big four sports here and I am one of them. I just like to watch CS and Val in my free time. We live in a console dominant region, things like Internet cafes don’t exist here like in EU.

posted about 3 years ago

NA has always had a scuffed mentality. It’s what has always held them back. Not to mention they are the most egotistical region. NA egos is what people care about most and their reputation.

Back in CS, the same problems that NA CS had will happen in NA VAL because the same problems and players in NA CS are now in Valorant.

EU just has the better mentality.

posted about 3 years ago

Let’s be real here. They won Iceland when there were 4 maps in the pool and there was no real competition lol.

posted about 3 years ago

i think coinflips should determine what team and regions are the best

Just a tad

Maybe they can replace sentinels

posted about 3 years ago

I don't know why he is still trying to bring it up, just move on and quit bringing attention to it.
Guess he wants easy twitter likes who knows.

posted about 3 years ago

NA just has scuffed mindsets, always has. Look at NA CS, the same problems that happened in NA CS will happen in NA VAL because the same players that were a problem there are now playing Valorant.

wdym NA doesn't game as much lol. There just isn't nearly as many Canadians as there are Americans. More people live in California than our entire country.
Where I live, there isn't much to do here during winter so that is when I tend to game the most and have the most freetime.

posted about 3 years ago

Shroud has always had a scuffed mentality and a jealous factor to CS because he never won anything and when c9 dropped him, they got better instantly and went on to win the major.

Sad that the average person on twitch thinks shroud is god and people will watch a literal brick.

NA fans in the corner

posted about 3 years ago

They really fell off a cliff since Iceland.

posted about 3 years ago

Dumb rule imo. If you can’t set it up in a normal round, shouldn’t be allowed to set it up it during a tact. But that’s just my opinion.

posted about 3 years ago

Unfortunately the viewership probably won’t be so hot now that Sentinels is out. Sentinels vs Liquid could have hit 1.2-1.5 mil in the finals or semis imo

posted about 3 years ago

I know that lol. Im not misunderstanding it. Im just saying I’ve seen people make that argument before.

posted about 3 years ago

Can never know nowadays. I’ve seen someone make the same argument claiming UK isn’t part of the eu region anymore because UK isn’t in the European Union lol.

posted about 3 years ago

Didn't watch the game but heard vanity did some sus stuff during a timeout or whatever.

posted about 3 years ago

Bro UK is still in the EMEA and Europe region regardless if The UK isn't in the European Union or not lol. No one has ever referred to EU when talking about games as the "European Union." It's just referred to the European region which the UK is in lol.

Nice edit

posted about 3 years ago

shazham is actually a banger movie tho

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I don’t know if it will ever. I love my sports. Big baseball and hockey guy and I know like every team in the big four sports in NA goto the White House and shit to celebrate. Quite cool.

posted about 3 years ago

Thanks for catching my error. I did mean million. And Mexico is included in that list. Canada has a population of 38 mil. US is around 330m. Mexico I believe is in the 100s and count all the Caribbean countries as well.

posted about 3 years ago

na mentality is disconnected from majority of games. that is and always has been the problem.

posted about 3 years ago

North America has 580 million and Europe has 746. They just have more countries instead of Canada and US which are massive in terms of land compared to them.

posted about 3 years ago

Realistically, there aren't any or any that know anything.
