Heretics vs FPX

Both of them

posted 1 month ago

No way that's your takeaway from this, holy bait.

posted 2 months ago

well the stakes WERE high, its now retroactively a meaningless game

posted 3 months ago

Not sure who's winning but I can sure but you Liquid will be 2nd place

posted 4 months ago

I count 16 expected results and 4 upsets, not sure what you mean.

I heard the roster was going to be:
watson (Duelist)
No[o]ne- (Sentinel)
DM (Initiator)
Kataomi' (Flex)
Fishman (Smokes/IGL)

I think Jeremy Elbertson's portrayal of the character 'Jerma' puts him firmly in the top 5

None of those are a guaranteed upgrade over Keiko, you could have stopped at the word Bonkar, give him 48 hours he can save any roster. Simply the goat.

I always think of that fit1nho clip, great casters always help

Poach Bonkar back to EMEA, rename team to Lonk

idk man i'm a TL fan and I bet half my paycheck on NAVI winning

unfortunately for him red car will be dropping 71

posted about a year ago

Clearly NAVI is not the point here. This whole conversation is about how losing Upper Round 1 moves you on the the same place as losing Upper Round 2, Giants could have qualified for Tokyo by only winning this game in the entire playoffs bracket, which IS a lacklustre way to qualify.

posted about a year ago

Is a bit weird that you can qualify for Tokyo going 1-2 though

strat book missing the last chapter

you just described exactly how it IS retroactive

posted about a year ago

if C9 had worse results but were still top seed then I would have wondered the exact same thing, you think everyone and their mother is a brazil hater?

posted about a year ago

You play statistically weaker teams early in the bracket as seed 1

posted about a year ago

Compared to C9, significantly worse round difference & worse map difference while both being 8-1, but still #1?

edit: Since when did group stage head to heads retroactively matter? Bros dropped 7 maps vs 4 and that all gets dismissed for a match played in the first week of the groups?

Oh of course, the incredible pace of progress in women's esports in recent years will just suddenly ground to a halt before the terrifyingly immovable men's T2 teams.

Yea I thought the same thing when they were set to play with Twisten but this is worse with just 5 days for him to get comfortable with the role change. Russ played full on support roles and they have looked at 2 duelist only players to replace him? Either Guild didn't look at the 100T boi mistake or these guys are BOTH secret support role masters.

posted about 2 years ago

Confused why they have looked at 2 duelist only players to fill the hardcore support role with 5 days notice. I don't think this will work at all.

posted about 2 years ago

He benched himself because he was being made to play a role he was not comfortable on or enjoyed, of course those stats aren't exemplary.
