LOL

Actually, it has a lot to do with how a team is setup and how it uses its players. An igl like Jamppi or Shaz are setup for success in how they create plays. Players like Redgar and Zombs are generally left to be anchors at sites where there are specific execs setup to kill them.

posted about 2 years ago

Redgar has a .83, .63, and .87 kda on three out of the 4 agents he has played in the last 2 tournaments. The only agent where he goes positive is on Sova which he plays 18.2% of the time. Redgar is IGLing but they are in very similar roles aside from that.

I hope the new team does better.

Ideally Id say every region should have at least 2 spots for international play. I know its not realistic but at least LATAM and KR deserve 2 spots. With how good their top teams are there wont be another team from those regions for a long time if they stay 1 team regions.

posted about 2 years ago

Facts. In one team regions the top team really suffocates the other teams in that region. They can keep practicing against better competition while the rest of the region is left behind. KR and Latam both need at least 2 spots each if riot wants the those regions to grow.

2 BR and 2 LATAM makes a lot of sense to me. But don't they play for that in the south America LCQ?

posted about 2 years ago

I kinda want to hear those coms as well, becusae shaz mentioned they were a big reason for their loss.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think Riot will change the slots distribution to much (taking away/adding slots to regions). Unless they add slots to increase the amount of teams playing which I hope they increase at least champions to a 24 team tournament. Just a hunch not based on anything.

LOL. Been talking to too many TSM fans.

Faze fits him, they are already controversial.

Number 1 doubter here.
With how recently they acquired Levi I find it highly unlikely for TSM to pick up a controversial sova main.

Im huffing a lot of Doubtium tho

This is how I would put the last 7 teams in order. (LG>TSM)

  1. Sentinels
  2. Envy
  3. 100T
  4. C9
  5. Xset
  6. V1
  7. Rise
  8. Faze
  9. GenG
  10. LG

Scream should be up there for his rifling imo.

posted about 2 years ago

They dominated Ace which is why people thought they were good.

posted about 2 years ago

It wasn't even that bad of a group. Kru, Sen, and TL Was the real group of death tbh. VS should have dominated their group imo.

posted about 2 years ago

Even though its a knockoff drug of Krupium its still a very powerful drug.

Akrew with Paincakes is picking up steam, if they continue and get better they could be on this list soon.

posted about 2 years ago

True, yeah I'm not sure. Sounds like the system you mentioned could work. Teams qualifying from east, west, north, and south possibly. Or maybe it wont have to do with geography at all and will just be a league like the nerdstreets.

posted about 2 years ago

I think Riot mentioned that the regional leagues would be coming to EMEA first and then to other regions later. I hope its soon for the others.

posted about 2 years ago

IDK. I just started understanding this years VCT.

posted about 2 years ago

Yep its all an issue. Poiz could go to a team like Xset but he is stuck on an Academy team. If C9 lets poiz go there is a chance that Xset beat C9 with Poiz on their Roster (The Tenz Effect).

Can anyone compare ec1s to steel? I haven't seen anything about ec1s.

posted about 2 years ago

No, there are very few opportunities in CS for NA professionals atm. Its pretty much just TL

posted about 2 years ago

I know, but I would still like to see them play more than we saw them this year. I hope these new events and tournaments will evolve more of these Tier 2 teams.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure TL is still going to be one of the only top NA orgs in CS (not including Brazilian teams like Fur). So, I think its more likely that more NA CS players will move to Valorant because of more opportunities.

posted about 2 years ago

I would shift c9, NV, and FNC down 1 place. Good list.

posted about 2 years ago

Me too, I love watching VCT but I want to see other teams like TSM, T1, and FPX more.

posted about 2 years ago

True! I was just thinking the same thing. They would be a nutty duo. However, I think its more likely for Asuna to go to C9.

I believe that chart is showing that masters is just going to happen in that month at some point rather than it spanning the total length of that time period.

posted about 2 years ago

24 team champions would be sick!

posted about 2 years ago

Its way more than just game-changers in that time span. there will be tournaments for teams that are rebuilding and new teams kinda like the ignition series in 2020.

posted about 2 years ago

I like the inclusion of the after champions tournaments. Stoked for this.

Scream honorable mention but he was only OK against Kru and Sen. (It seems those were both good teams though)

LATAM > NA let it be said. Kru deserve it!

I agree with fuck Zombs, but why Fuck NA?

Vamos Kru!

posted about 2 years ago

Everywhere that isn't in EMEA is a form of NA including LATAM (South NA), Brazil (Also south NA), SEA (South East NA), KR and JP (West NA).

posted about 2 years ago

Is it against vlrs rules to post threads in other languages?

posted about 2 years ago

Cmon, LouBag didn't call LATAM a shit region.

posted about 2 years ago

Even though they eliminated teams from NA and Brazil.

Vamos Kru!! LATAM > EMEA Hopium

posted about 2 years ago

Listen, the Fat Burgers have nothing to do with NA losing. However, the grease on the keyboard, mouse and monitors does make it hard to play sometimes.

posted about 2 years ago

Dude! Don't start the food debate again that got out of hand last time! lol

posted about 2 years ago

I agree, especially with what you said about consoles. I think there is a similarity with Japan in that aspect.

posted about 2 years ago

IDK. Even though the populations for the two region are comparable I believe that in NA console gaming takes away more of the potential player base. But still. It could be the culture and stigmas around PC gaming in NA. In NA PC gamers are generally thought of as the nerds and "uncool" people.

posted about 2 years ago

If leaf plays well it will be good match, if not its a better luck next year NA.

posted about 2 years ago

I think the NA teams tilt really easy allowing comebacks. A lot of those games should have been done with. Ace and Gambit have/had similar issues.
