I think 100ts did a really good job with this roster. Having to replace Nitro and steel is really tough and not easy to do. BabyJ is sick and a really good player! I haven't seen ec1s play so hopefully he fills the position well. They have a really strong core, one of the best in the game, I am really confident in this team.

I don't like how random it will be. Id hate to see a T1/TSM go against a team like Akrew and then we don't get to see one of them play for months. It's a really harsh system. Hopefully 3rd party tournaments can make up for the teams that don't make it to top 12.

These guys have been grinding a while too. Pain, kanpeki and gucc have been playing together since June.

I didn't know he switched in the first place.

Faze doesn't have a team I am sorry about that but I cant rank them. Akrew have been winning everything they have entered and beating teams like KCP. LG lost Aproto big L. The only one I could possibly rank above Akrew/KCP would be TSM and possibly T1.

posted about 2 years ago

You are right, there are only 12 spots you know. I could see T1/TSM being as high as 6th we just haven't seen them play yet.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't like T1s core as much as 100Ts. I'm actually confident that 100ts can make top 8 no matter the other 2 they have and I think ec1s can bring good IGLing to put them there. T1 is a brand new team that still needs 2. I like curry, Steel, and Thwifo, but the top 12 is stacked with talented teams that have already proven themselves... aside from Akrew I guess but that is bias on my part.

posted about 2 years ago

I'd put them as high as 6th atm. C9 and Rise beat them when they had Nitro. Benching Steel for b0i in the middle of VCT was a very questionable move by the management imo, Now they have ec1s and no 5th yet so I'm just not as confident in the team. Could change once the season starts.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, LCQ for rise could have been just a hot run. But if they continue to play like that I think they deserve top 5.

I don't think so.

T1 might have ska and auti out. So, they are left with Steel, Curry, and Thwifo. I'm not confident.

Faze doesn't have a team.
T1 might have Ska and Auti out so I'm not sure what they are doing.

Totally forgot about TSM. Its kinda like they haven't played a match since August.

NA teams ranked and predicted 12 RR teams

You can make arguments for Sen, NV, and C9 for NA #1. C9 is just what I went with.

Masters level teams:

  1. C9
  2. NV
  3. Sen
  4. Xset
  5. Rise

Challengers Playoff Level Teams:

  1. Gen.g
  2. V1
  3. 100T (100t's core thee makes me believe)

Bottom 4:

  1. NRG
  2. KCP
  3. Akrew
  4. LG TSM/T1

Edit: Spots 9 - 12 are very open for discussion there are a lot of teams that can go there.

Champions is #1 in my book. The Kru run was too much fun. If 100ts made it to the finals of masters 3 and re-matched gambit after their group game I think that would have taken the cake.

I am not talking about stats. Its more about his team not doing well. I think that because his team didn't have a good tourney it makes a lot of people look past individual performance. Which I think is part of the reason Platchat didn't have him as a nominee which is what this thread is about.

Faze really seams like the odd one out here.

Thanks for takin the time hiyo!

posted about 2 years ago

And some of these teams and players are going to be out for a long time if they miss the RR. like months!

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah!
I wouldn't be upset to see Faze (if they sign a team) and V1 as well.

A Brazilian c9 fan? I don't think so, this dude is from NA.

posted about 2 years ago

I am talking about overall performance throughout 2021. If Yay is overrated then so is Scream lol which neither are both are insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Reduxx and Habib are going insane this tourney!

posted about 2 years ago

Well are we talking about all of 2021 or just from lcq on? Because I think there were better players at taking duels than Scream if you look at all of 2021. Cned is n1 for all of 2021, and Yay, up until champs, was probably better too.

posted about 2 years ago

His team's Iceland and challengers 3 performance holds him back from an overall 2021 player of the year award. He was one of the best if not the best from lcq on but you can similar things about tenz earlier in the year. If you look at Cned who was the winner of masters 1 and champions. Its hard to top.

posted about 2 years ago

Scream is an amazing player but he is not the best in the world. Iceland hurt his rep too much I think.

He is nutty and a free agent right? I am surprised a team hasn't picked him up yet.

If Tenz preforms he has the most talent on the roster for purely hitting shots probably better then Shahz. At least that is what the team thinks. So, they stick him on the operator that benefits the most from the pure skill of hitting shots which is Jett. Now if he continues to do poorly at large events then they will likely switch him off Jett like you say they should do.

posted about 2 years ago

Explain Jamppi > shahz. Im not saying you are wrong just want to hear why, unless you are the type of guy to hate shahz for his personality/CS drama. Both are cracked IGLs.

VLR.gg rule #1 - Always assume anything that Netero posts is bait.

posted about 2 years ago

Kr was exactly hyped but VS under delivered at champs that's all. The region needs more experience with tac shooters in general to be consistent.

Can someone explain OPP rating?

posted about 2 years ago

You might be right. They haven't faced a top 10 Na team yet if you don't count kcp which it seems they have a good match up against.

posted about 2 years ago

Hecking Love Xset. It seems like they have a pretty chill and mature squad with Ayrin, dephh, and BCJ. I hope to see cryo do well with them.

posted about 2 years ago

What I mean is If there is only one spot for KR in masters/champs we will probably only see VS out of KR. But you are right the gap between Kru and the other teams of Latam is greater than VS and the other teams in KR.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he can.

posted about 2 years ago

I agree. With how good Kru are we probably wont see another team from that region for a long time if it remains a 1 team region. Same with VS and Korea.

posted about 2 years ago

Wardell is really good with the op but their team never wins... so its pretty hard to tell where to rank him. Cned and Yay are definitely better than him and I wouldn't rank him above other known opers who have been good at major lans.
