Yes and no one discredited fnc for that why are u trying to discredit other teams win then With ur amazing logic lol it's always funny looking at threads after a popular team loses
What a logic lmao fnc won against loud in lock in and lost to them in the rematch at champions does that mean fnc doesn't deserve lock in? Lmao according to your logic no team should ever lose against a team whom they once beat because apparantly in rematch other teams can't win 😂😂
They love viper too much harbor viper clove omen chamber the ultimate best comp no initiator no duelists easy wins 🫡
I'm not making excuses I said that prx were looking to win in ewc too but they were only gonna use their Toronto strats in the tournament u can see the matches they didn't try anything new I'm not saying they lost on purpose but I'm sure that they definitely didn't scrim that much on the maps and 100% fnc and geng were better there are no doubts
I don't think anything's gonna change in stage 2 haven will still remain the permaban ascent will always be a weak map for prx tho I have full trust they already have another comp ready on it as it's very rare of prx to pick the same ascent comp after losing again fnc specifically for ascent they never repeat an ascent comp on losing idk how their bind and corrode gonna look like
Idk why but there's a high chance they have been practicing corrode during ewc I only think this because in an interview forsaken said that they practiced icebox once so while I do think they were looking at ewc to win too there's a high chance they are practicing bind and corrode instead trusting their Toronto strats because they literally didn't do anything new on any map
I mean when they are winning against everyone can't say their lotus is not good in all honesty the only reason lotus is getting so close is because prx has forgotten how to win pistols
lol if it goes to 5 maps and split is decider its 100% going to be a banger
Prx bans Haven and ascent
Prx picks Pearl
Fnc picks icebox
Prx picks sunset
Fnc picks lotus
Split decider
this is the veto which should be happening
the only different thing could be if prx bans icebox then 2nd map is ascent
Now the veto I want for a banger match is Split Lotus Pearl Icebox Sunset
in post match conference after wolves win alecks made it quite clear that they don't want to play haven so he's glad he is going from upper bracket, unless he's baiting he made it clear haven will remain the permaban
no way that's true sure in some rounds but in the most important rounds he has been really good like on lotus at 11-12 getting the kill on stairs also in g2 game last round as well getting kill at stairs he's been pretty good in the most important rounds even on ascent on last eco he got 3
Yeahh there's really nothing obvious about the bans and picks for today's map vetos
In first case of prx banning first there's no way they don't ban ascent, there's simply just no way they would let ascent float if given the chance to ban it and I also can't see wolves banning lotus first I think the last case is pretty likely of pearl split and sunset but yeah I agree with teams risking not banning haven first if they have the first ban
I also think split would be better but I have seen sliggy mention this multiple times that out of all the maps he didn't like wolves lotus so maybe that's why they pick lotus that's my thought behind it
PRX bans haven
Wolves ban Icebox
PRX picks lotus
Wolves picks ascent
PRX bans sunset
Wolves bans split
Pearl decider
No clue how this veto is gonna go both have haven as there permaban if prx gets first ban maybe they risk and bans ascent hoping for wolves to ban haven then the map veto will look completely different and if wolves has 1st ban maybe they take risk and ban something else hoping for prx to ban haven, idk this veto is a bit too confusing
yeahh if the map veto goes something like ascent split sunset then there's a high chance sen wins if they win ascent but if they somehow lose ascent then it could be a mentally rough loss as it would be a surprise pick for sen
lotus is sen's best map no way they ban it
Yeahh I mean I see sen sunset a bit better than prx so I won't be surprised if it gets picked also last year both teams had the best sunsets too but sen destroyed prx on sunset in madrid so idk it would be a good match if they play on sunset I feel like
Yeahhh like any of the maps other than haven and ascent is decently good enough for both teams so any of the other 5 maps getting picked should potentially give us a banger match. I say potentially as most of the games predicted to be a banger this tournament has ended 2-0 lol
ikr that's why I also have that feeling that sen may pick ascent
sen looks really good on sunset too if sen picks lotus then maybe it will be decider
Sen bans icebox
Prx bans haven
Sen picks Sunset
Prx picks split
Sen bans pearl
Prx bans ascent
Lotus decider
A sneaky feeling that sen might pick ascent as a surprise pick
I also heavily doubt it as I also do map veto preds before prx games but like now everytime there's one pick which is a little bit bold just like in prx vs g2 when they actually picked split(which they literally lost in prvs game vs liquid)and left icebox as a decider so yeah its just a bold prediction of ascent getting picked
I have a sneaky feeling sen may pick ascent as a surprise pick and lotus is left as a decider both of these teams have played a lot and showed a lot already they might need to surprise the other team with a surprise pick
Yeah I mean I don't understand it like for sure as all the 1st seeds lost there maybe something disadvantages or something like that but like I did not see a single person saying until they all lost so like if they tweet it now ofc everyone will think that they are making excuses even if they are right. No one is even eliminated till now atleast finish the tournament first
I just noticed that every china team's matches in this masters had atleast one 8-4 half time score. In fact there have been 9 8-4 half time scores out of the 16 maps cn teams have played in this masters
hey I atleast predicted lotus correctly lol
Its a double edged sword just yesterday all people and analysts were saying that 1st seed is beneficial because firstly in a new meta all will have new comps and they will get to see all new stuff of swiss teams but a disadvantage of no reps in new meta
Haha yeahh I mean there's nothing wrong with having fun and I prefer that they have fun but from the TL game they should learn that even when they are having fun they should not lose their focus from the game otherwise they will get snowballed
Yeah and honestly for this I gotta blame alecks a bit too that even at the 12-9 timeout he didn't tell them to go A which makes me think that prx as a whole couldn't figure out that A only had one player untill the ot round where something understood that even on making so much noise no one is clearing A(not a hate on alecks btw this was the only thing which frustrated a lot of people watching the game)
True but prx really need to figure this out every time someone from the opponent starts becoming a raid boss prx starts losing a ton of rounds even in the dfm game when akame became a raid boss in that last pearl map prx almost lost so they need to think of a way around these things
Yeahh they just gotta fix their attack a little bit they couldn't figure out till ot that they should go A
bro I'm not disagreeing with you that g2 is fundamentally better but whether they like it or not they have to ban 2 maps so when predicting map veto there's no point in considering who's fundamentally better its not like they can abstain from banning a map just because they can fundamentally beat prx on any map
ehhh it was still 12-3 at one point I still think they are good on it and just hard choked the lead in TL game
yeah idk trust aside I cant see them changing comps on it anytime soon they have been sticking with this comp since last year and has been getting success on it and I agree with pearl or lotus
I'll still make the same argument that last few scores of g2 on pearl were loss against sen and almost loss against eg and 100t idk if they will be that confident on it and pearl is also the only map where I think prx didn't show everything as it was a quick 13-1 compared to the other maps
Yeahh if haven gets picked then it could be a really interesting match considering the risk involved. But I kinda wanna see ascent lol tho ik prx is not that good in it but its always fun to see the weird comps which they only do on ascent nowadays
hmm I did see somewhere mini talking that prx do have something on haven but I can't really see this game as the opportunity to take that risk knowing that g2 picks haven and as for 1 other map....unfortunately prx are the only team which has showed all their maps in swiss other than haven, I don't think they have enough time to prepare a whole lot on other maps tho if they take the gamble and pick haven and it works then they are gonna look like the ultimate big brain team lol
True g2 are definitely good on pearl but yeah I mean they could have cooked a lot of good stuff on sunset which they are yet to show while prx just showed that map yesterday, g2 can maybe antistrat it knowing that prx don't have the time to cook something more on sunset in just 1 day
Yeah I agree that's why I still kept lotus in the map veto keeping aside the 9 rounds throw prx have been quite dominant on lotus and I think they should still back their lotus
hmm idk I went back to see the scores of g2's maps in recent times they lost on pearl against sen and almost lost pearl against 100t and eg so I am not sure if g2 will be confident in picking it
G2 bans Pearl
PRX bans Haven
G2 picks Ascent
PRX picks Sunset
G2 bans icebox
PRX bans .....Split
Lotus decider......idk as a prx fan predicting this veto is hella scary imo maybe I'm just predicting a veto which gives prx the best chance, regardless I have done this predicting veto 2 times before got 1 map correct the 1st time 2 maps correct 2nd time maybe I predict all maps correctly this time
100% agreed I honestly don't see ascent getting picked as like tl already has less time to prep as it is so I think its best for them if they ride their momentum on icebox/sunset as their pick and after that I think prx will ban ascent as the 2nd ban so yeah idk it will be interesting still if ascent gets picked
yeah I mean not necessarily muddy I think it should still be a fundamentally fine valorant game but I definitely agree that whoever aim diffs is gonna win this game
overrated is a bit harsh imo as even tho for this tournament th didn't play good its not like prx played a close game against them so like if we are taking the th was ass as a comparison then prx also dominated them(I'm not calling u out btw I can see that u are prx fan I am just talking about the prx might have gotten overrated thing)
Lol I mean I'm a prx fan so I prefer if this happens but gotta be a neutral untill game starts can't jinx the train :)
ehh I think the opposite simply because as I predict the veto atleast one of sunset and icebox is guaranteed to be picked and it could be both as well it could even be an ascent pick, prx lost both on ascent and icebox recently while tl won on icebox. As for sunset prx are yet to play it but tl won on sunset recently so momentum wise tl are favoured in this veto no matter how it goes
Its a really tough situation for prx in this veto I'm not quite sure whether they will really be that underconfident on icebox after 1 loss when they have been quite good on it recently and then there's also that historically prx have never been confident in ascent even if they win on it they avoid it like in pacific after winning in ascent against t1(13-4) they banned it against drx and didn't pick it against boom even tho they picked fracture which they lost 13-3 against T1, regardless I think this map veto is gonna heavily favour TL
Yeah that's why I added at the end that icebox could be TL pick instead of being the decider
