I like the personalities on Fnatic and Liquid that I really don't mind if either win tbh region aside. Of course I'm rooting for C9 first
Bro at this point im not even confident our teams are going to make it to playoffs :'(
I'd rather have a SEN vs. TL rivalry than have a completely dominant team
The same Vision Strikers who lost to Fnatic this time. I'm talking about recency
idk how to delete my reply so it's just here

bunch of hard takes tbh
To be fair Gambit has been looking pretty weak recently. They lost to Acend in Redbull Homegrounds 2 (they got 13-0'd) and now are losing maps to teams who have no right to take a map from the "best team".
What did Keznit's paper say, I couldn't read it because of how dark the stream is
Acend is too inconsistent that any discussion over their next match is worthless.
👍
Regional toxicity is becoming too much of a burden. Completely destroys the viewer experience when twitch chat is constantly being spammed with negativity. I just want to support some of the EU teams I like watching but their fans were always so toxic to NA. Definitely goes the same way around and it's just getting worse and worse.
Fnatic can't keep getting away with this...
Bro I was such a Fnatic doubter. Now they are taking my vlr.gg pickem points
Is going 1-2 not considered a poor performance? SEA has probably some of the least experience on a worldwide stage because of visa issues and lack of maps they've played in masters events.2 of the 3 teams have not played internationally yet besides X10 who got 7-8th in iceland. They shouldn't be slept on but the general expectations of the audience aren't exactly going to consider them a threat. Because of the groups Team Secret is really the only SEA team that will likely make it out of groups.
The concept that next year could be weighted from a tourney where any groups stage-no matter the seeding- is justified is hard to agree with. I understand if you are referring to being the best, but the winner isn't always undefeated. Gambit could've lost if they had to play 100t in playoffs or maybe even acend or the other teams that they managed to dodge. Rankings also will be inaccurate if seeding is done poorly like in every single Valorant tournament so far.
I'ma be honest the only other group that wouldve been better for them would to be in Gambit's group which is hilariously weak. They would be almost guarenteed a second seed into playoffs where they would be on the opposite side of the bracket than Gambit. Their issue is the fact that EU gets 4 seeds and NA 3 meaning they are guarenteed to get a EU team and likely an NA team in their bracket. This should be a regular occurrence at this point and their current bracket is against the worst EU and NA teams and Full Sense, so it's considerably harder to secure a spot but not as bad as Berlin. *edit- it would be impossible for them to be in Gambit's group since both are one of the 4 top seeds, so this is literally the best group they could have aside from full sense
people sleeping on the fact that Team Secret bought Bren's valorant roster-literally the best SEA team and probably the second best in asia after VS. No way they lose to CR.
